I opened the box today. The machine vacuumed fine, but when I tried to use the steam mode, no steam at all was produced. Returning.
I purchased this product early August 2021. As a product, this mop did what I wanted it to do. Yes, the head's shape (not rectangular like others) does not lend itself to getting close to baseboards, but you can work around that. My issue was with the mop pad. As soon as I saw how small it was, I realized that I would need more. That's where my frustration began. After calling and visiting multiple websites and phone numbers (at least 2 hours), it was IMPOSSIBLE to find replacement mop pads!! Black & Decker's website didn't even list this mop as one of their products. I called CT Nova, B&D's parent company, and 3 days later someone called me back and said "they are working on getting more pads; should be 3 or 4 more weeks". I was very concerned that would come to fruition, so I returned the mop. Too bad. I'm now back to square 1 in my search for a steam mop. My advice: look for the replacement pads FIRST before you purchase this mop.

Bought this Feb 2021 and tried to buy additional pads but there are none available even from the Black and Decker website. I contacted B&D website and they were of no help. So if and when my pad wears out the steam mop will be useless.
