Black Series Motorized Basketball Hoop Game

Bought two of these basketball games for my sons, which will promptly be “stolen” by their sons; well, perhaps they will play them together…?

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this toy for my little one he's 7 and loves basketball. The moment he opened the box to see what it is he was so excited to play it. Small size makes it great to play anywhere. We took turns playing and had a blast.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of those last minute gifts that you pick up for a guy in your life that you don't know how to shop for- maybe a college student in a dorm, or an office-bound drone, or a Secret Santa. If you're used to bells and whistles on your toys, this gift will disappoint. It's a pretty simple concept: bounce the ping-pongish ball into the hoop as many times as you can before the timer is up. If you make enough baskets, you move to the next level. If you don't game over. Oh, and the whole court moves side-to-side as you're doing this. It's actually pretty difficult to do this successfully for the first hundred times or so. It's a simple hand-eye coordination + timing game, and perfecting it all will take lots of practice and repetition, hence, perfect for the office worker!

I remember similar ones when I was a kid. The only thing missing is a space to hold the balls when you’re not playing. We’ve lost one already. Lol

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My 8-year-old daughter and I have been having fun playing with this game ever since we got it. We found that it was easiest to use on a hard, flat floor as opposed to a tabletop since the wheels make it roll from side to side quite a bit. The directions say to bounce the balls into the hoop, but we found that to be more difficult and it caused the balls to bounce up and over the game and all over the place more than they actually went into the hoop. We ended up just shooting the balls into the hoop. There are 3 levels to play and you have to get a certain number of points in round one to move onto the next round, as well as a certain number of points in the second round in order to move onto the third round. I’m not sure how many points are needed to move onto the next rounds. Once you reach the third round, the goal is to get 99 points in order to win. The directions say that the hoop moves faster and faster as you progress through the levels, but I really didn’t notice much difference in the speeds. The scoreboard and backboard light up and the game makes a variety of noises including whistles and cheering. Overall, this is a fun game for kids and adults and can keep you occupied for a while. I would definitely recommend this game to any basketball fans

It seriously is so much fun to see how many you can get in, fun for I’d say 6 years in up (our 6 year old wanted to cheat still) up to infinity. I’m telling you it’s a game for all ages and all skill levels.

The quality of this set was better than I expected and the balls didn’t feel cheap. I think this would be an excellent gift for a little boy or to bring out on family game nights even. I’d definitely recommend this basketball game!
