An almost perfect Jogging Stroller kbluebird ·

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was our first Bob stroller, something we have wanted for a while but have not taken the plunge on until now. We are so thankful to Steller Review panel for letting us be a part of the review of this stroller, and providing us with this awesome stroller to test out. Overall: LOVE IT!!!! It has made me want to start running again because it is just so easy to use and maneuver. My son is comfortable (18 months old) and it's very comfortable for the one who is doing the pushing. I finally see why they are such loved strollers. Down the road, when we hopefully have another child, we will definitely invest in a double bob stroller, no questions asked. Here are our pros and cons; the cons are more of "suggestions" or ways to maybe improve, but not deal breakers. Pros: - Packaging was wonderful, no damage from shipping, easy to open and set up. - The storage compartment is wonderful. Roomy and the addition of the zipper makes a world of difference. No concern with items falling out both while running or while transporting. Plenty of room for essentials during extended outings. Structured bottom is also a really nice feature. - Tire pressure out of the box is a good all-terrain pressure. You may want to let some air out if doing more off roading (tried it out on some sand with our about 27 pound kid with no real issue). Paved surfaces and and gravel gave no me problems. - Locking wheel gave some extra traction and ease while off roading (recommended in the user guide). Also, I had no issue 'turning" the stroller while in the locked position on a paved path. Could potentially see trouble with this as weight of child increases? - Seat padding: our kid has never been more comfortable. He has napped multiple times while riding and actually gets excited to get in his stroller. The seat seems to hold him in a very comfortable position (no problems during 2 hour walks). - The shade length and design is great. The adjustability has been nice while also providing extra SPF and rain protection. - The handle bar adjustments are easy. The handle bar itself is very comfortable. - If you need to "rest" while walking, you can raise the handle bar and lean a considerable amount of you weight on them. This probably wont be recommended by BOB, but it works! - The mesh stretchy pockets inside the child seat are perfect for snacks and toys and can easily be accessed by both child and parent. Cons: - The sun shade slide lock on one side wasn't all the way up when sliding the shade off and it broke with ease. Not a big deal. - Hand brake lever is pretty uncomfortable and very difficult to squeeze. The brake lever started to create "hot spots" on my hand not long after experimenting with it. Add a little sweat and hills and you're looking at blisters for sure. What I would really like to see is more of a mountain bike style brake lever made out of aluminum. The cable also really needs some grease due to it being very resistant. - Another thing I noticed was when the stroller would lean more to the right (curb, hard turn or an uneven path), there was a noticeable grinding noise. Upon inspection I noticed it was coming from the parking brake rod on the right side making contact with the grooves on the inside of the wheel for the rod to go in and lock the wheel. Not a big deal, but it sounds like a big deal. Probably would shorten that parking brake rod; may do it myself. - The seat back adjustment was a little difficult one handed and I had to stop and use both hands to lay my kid down. I also needed both hands to raise it back up. Not sure if there is a better way to design this feature, but it's definitely not a deal breaker. I also wish the straps would not hang and flop so much when the seat back is in full upright position; but they can be tucked in to the pockets fairly easily. Again, not that big of a deal. - My kid gets very hot. It's spring time in NC and I've noticed that he is already very warm in the seat. I would love to see some mesh incorporated into the seat back for "breathability" so he was cooler. Another idea; if there was a strip of mesh where the seat base meets the seat back, you could easily brush sand and dirt right out the back of the seat. - The back pockets on the seat back are nice but if you lay the seat down there is potential for items to fall out and you can't get to them. - I do wish the stroller was a bit lighter to load in and out of my car, however I know that if you sacrifice weight, you lose ride quality. - Lastly, I don't like that when you fold the stroller up, the handle bars are all over the ground. Again, not sure how to improve that, nor is it a deal breaker. Thanks for an awesome stroller and keep making the best stroller out there!

Looks awesome, but decent (not great) quality Eddie ·

Bought this June 2020 (manufactured March 2020). I noticed most of the reviews on here are from people who got it for free. Pros: comfortable seat, great suspension, great look, and easy to collapse Cons: canopy does not cover the sides of the stroller leaving a gap where the sun gets in (see pictures), auto-lock made out of cheap rubber, hand brake is stiff, and engaging the foot brake causes you to slightly slam you toes into the frame. I still love it and will keep it. Don’t expect an overall amazing stroller, it has its issues.

Squeaky axle & flat wheels - only downsides jayme92 ·
Recommended Not Recommended

I was so excited to get this jogger stroller since I’ve been trying to get back into running after having my baby. But after using it twice, the rear wheel/axle started started squeaking. If I lift up on one side while jogging it stops momentarily but returns as soon as I set it down. The rear wheels don’t hold air either; I’ve unfortunately not used this as I had planned because of the embarrassing and disruptive noise and the fact that I have to air the tires every time I do attempt to use it. Very disappointed. *I was told to use wd-40 on the axle which worked for about 2 min before the noise returned.

Britax quality for more than Bob prices Gray ·

We went from a second hand 10+ year old BoB Revolution to this new “flagship” model. I was expecting a vast improvement with a decade of development between the models, but was greatly disappointed. The quality was severely lacking in comparison to our old and worn out stroller. After one walk we returned it and went with the new revolution. Let’s start with the good: It’s heavy and that makes this thing very stable in a straight line and in turns. It has creature comfort improvements such as nice padding in the seat area, a large canopy, a magnetic view cover, one handed recline, and an adjustable handle. All of these are also present on the revolution 3.0. The Bad and downright Ugly: Brakes. Yes, the entire selling point of this stroller for me was the biggest let down. First of all, they ditched a working aluminum lever for a cheap plastic lever that came from the factory with a cross threaded and disbonded barrel adjuster. The cable routing is where things really get bad. They use an oddly placed junction box to split it into two cables and it makes the difference in cable drag from one side to the other a nightmare. After an hour of fiddling with individual brake adjustments the best I could get was a right brake that grabs first and then a left that quickly locks up while the right side is still barely engaged. That makes it unpredictable and it constantly pulls a turn when you use the brake. Hold on to your child, this thing is dangerous going downhill! The parking brake works fine, but is difficult to engage. The improved, longer travel suspension is merely squeaky springs inside those shiny “shocks”. It’s less plush than the Revolution and lacks the adjustment for big kids. The weight is a lot and it’s noticeable. It’s far more nose heavy and unbalanced than the revolution. This makes it difficult to lighted the front end and make turns with the nose wheel locked. The “XL” storage area barely fits our diaper bag whereas it fits easily in the revolution. The fabric is also very light and feels as if it would be easily torn. I didn’t even attempt to zip up the zipper that appears to be the most dainty and fragile zipper I’ve ever seen. This is a major step back for BOB. In the end, we went with the Revolution 3.0. I was also astonished to see many cost saving measures that make it of lesser quality than the classic Revolution before Britax bought BoB. Many metal parts are now plastic and most of the metal stamped pieces are made cheaper without lightening holes. The new model is heavier and much of that may be due to the increased creature comforts. I would like to see the quality of the old Bob on the revolution with a working brake system.

Great stroller, brakes squeak Sara ·
Recommended Not Recommended

We have gotten a ton of use out of this BOB already. It's perfect for around the neighborhood. It is inconvenient to take the front wheel off to put it in/out of the car, however with more practice it can be done easily. The brakes on the stroller squeak, so that is not expected for such a pricey stroller. That issue has not gotten better or worse. Overall we like it and I bought the cup holder accessory which has been a nice add on.

Flalt Tires all the time Jessica ·

Got this thinking it would be the best stroller with it's price tag. It most definitely isn't alterrain when it comes go the wheels. The tube in the tires went flat 3 times in the first month we had it and we were only walking around our neighborhood, not even off roading. we finally had to seal all the tubes to be more preventive. Buy lots of extra tire tubes if you purchase.

Good Stroller, Missing Critical Feature Gkratville ·

We bought two of these strollers over a year ago for both our boys (upgraded one from the Revolution). At the time, BOB said they were anticipating the tray to be released within a few months. We are many months later and there is still not a tray feature for this stroller. Had I known that BOB was not going to make a tray for these, we would never have bought these and would have just bought another Revolution. Additionally, I find that both of the Allterrain Pros squeak and creak more than the Revolution ever did.

No better stroller for a big kid! Natalie ·

We absolutely LOVE this stroller. We definitely haven't had any of the issues the 1* reviewers left. No bent wheels, hold air just fine, folds great, super smooth ride. My 2 year old is 38" tall and 35lbs and he has loads of room to grow. Sleeps great in it when we need a stroller nap. The only disappointment is they claimed they were going to release a snack tray and that still hasn't happened yet.

No snack tray kimberly ·

Been in contact with customer service since February of 2021. When we realized bobs current snack tray is not compatible, we would told it would be available by april. I emailed again in August and was told it would be available by September 2021. It is now January and via Instagram they say they have no “anticipated date” of having the tray.

No Snack Tray :( Dani ·
Recommended Not Recommended

The stroller is decent but I’m giving it only one star because of the lack of a snack tray option. I bought it in the middle of 2020 with the notion that a snack tray option would be coming soon and it has not. Honestly because it doesn’t have a snack tray I never use the stroller and I am considering buying a different one and selling this one. So disappointed
