bObsweep PetHair Robotic Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

Couldn't run for more than 5 minutes without getting stuck somewhere. Despite what it says, it does not know where the edge of stairs are. Bulky and clunky and doesn't function on its own without assistance every 5 seconds. When it actually did run, it seemed to do a subpar job cleaning. I would vacuum after it had run a 90 minute cycle.. on ONE room.. and my full size vacuum still had a lot that it picked up. The "mop function" was a tiny swiffer like pad. You had to prewet it. So that would work for about 5 feet. It was a joke. I returned it. I now have a Shark vacuum that can do an entire floor of my home in 50 minutes, without help. It is quieter, it is smaller and fits better in tighter spaces, and it doesn't get stuck on every tiny thing. It knows where stairs are. And when I vacuumed after using it, I had nothing in my full size vacuum canister. Would never get the Bob again. Ever.

This vac is very primitive. It goes in random directions and bounces off everything it hits. It slap is unable to deal with any rugs. Seems able to handle pet hair well, which is why I gave it a 3. I’ve purchased Roombas, Botvacs, and now tried BObsweep. I’ll see how long it lasts but doubt I’ll buy another. Compared overall the price is ok, botvacs are much better at cleaning but last about 1 year max. Roombas are not near as good cleaners and last to just past warranty. Have had BObsweep for about 4 months and will not go onto rugs and clean about as good as a Roomba.

Bob is a new addition to our family! let me just say that he is of great value. It is easy to get him going. He has the Uv light which you can turn off or on. Also he is a spot cleaning or just auto where he will go for about 1 hour. it keeps a timer of how long he has run when you start him. it will restart the time if you happen to turn it off and on. also has where is will just do the edges or look for walls. he picks up sooo much and had a huge dustbin. you just press a button to empty it. he is not loud at all and does. it get stuck. he front comes with sticker bumpers so it will not ruin the furniture. I do notice when he goes on the carpet he will rise up and then when he is on the floor he will adjust back done. he seems determined to get everything. he can mop as well but I don't use that function as much cause it just like a swift mopper pad. I would totally recommend Bob. the uv cleaning light is amazing during this time with so many germs!

This thing will clean but it cannot overcome any surface changes, even the thinnest of wool rugs will stop it. It does not know to reverse if it gets into a corner - it will just sit and run the batteries down. If you babysit it and kick it occasionally to free it from any and everything it encounters it will clean - no more value than an ordinary hand broom.

This is a great product that really does help out around the house. The biggest drawback is the noise level, as it is a bit loud. Other than that, it works great!

a great time saver for light daily maintenance. It doesn't get the corners and edges the way a traditonal broom does, but it does help quite a bit in the overall cleanliness of a room. Bonus--It actually does leave the air feeling cleaner.
