Was really glad I got the touch screen to set up everyone's favorite drink settings for them & it looks nice. The immediate warm up is amazing so it can make a coffee or espresso faster than any pod machine, and the and best quality using fresh beans. We hardly ever use a coffee machine unless we are making a more than 2 cups or need a full pot. The americanos with this machine are far tastier than a coffee dripper. The only difference I saw between this and the higher end Oracle is I have to tamp myself, but honestly its so easy to do and so much more precise. Tamping is tedious though since portafilter can overflow with grounds when grinding and create a small mess on countertop if you don't tamp carefully. I like how I can dial in temp settings for espresso, and milk. Favorite is the Auto frothing steamer. makes silky smooth texture better than I can doing it manually. Machine is built well and solid. Completely satisfied.
Had the Barista touch for a few months. Suddenly had an error pop up "Error 5" and I cannot navigate or use the machine anymore. Called Breville and they asked me to ship it to them for repair. Its been 3 weeks since I sent it and no update, I called them over a dozen times (twice as bad due to COVID when we need the machinethe most). Very disappointed since I've had a Breville for over 10 years (started on the barista express) Needless to say I would not be recommending this machine to anyone and I don't plan to buy a Breville product ever again.

Easy to use, lots of customization and options but also capable of “plug and play”. Results are excellent, don’t know what I did without it.

A false start when first unit didn’t work as water wouldn’t come through returned to shop and replaced, second unit working well getting to grips with tamping and extraction lengrh for different beans and obtaining some good drinks Good support from help desk when couldn’t register this and a bread maker on the website over Christmas

Hello, hope you enjoy my thoughts on Breville, my first coffee maker, Breville Melitta, bought in 1981 is still in perfect condition and has been used constantly over the years especially when we entertained or wanted coffee available on the kitchen bench. Thank you Breville, we are now enjoying the new Barista Touch but can still use our beloved Melitta too! By the way, we have also used the Breville Soft Top kettles and the Breville Smart toasters for many years, so now constantly have our three smart Breville appliances on display all the time. Thank you Breville over the years for supplying our home with frypans, electric mixers and knives too. Tremendous service, always there when needed and so reliable.

Im so happy with my barista touch! I bought it for my girlfriend for Christmas! We use to have to stop on the way to work in the morning to buy a proper coffee from a barista, but now we can just take them from home! We save a lot of money in the long run and the coffees taste so much better ! Especially with the custom setting feature , lets you have your coffee prefect with one touch of a button !
