Im a former barista who has made thousands upon thousands of shots for customers on gigantic, very expensive espresso machines. This machine makes shots every bit as good as any shot ive ever had. Bean quality and user technique are going to be the only things limiting anyones experiences with the machine. I pulled about half a dozen shots before i had it dialed in pretty well. The pressure gauge makes it easy for anyone to know if they are doing it right or wrong. The feature I like the most is the grinder. At work i used to have to weigh each filter with the grounds in it to make sure i had the proper amount of grind before i made the shot. The automatic dispersement allows for the same shot to be made every time. This machine is great. If you buy espresso everyday it will pay for itself in less than 5 months and that isnt factoring the added convenience of making espresso at home.
I have had 2 of these. They are good but the pump will degrade and fail like clock work at the 4 month mark if you make 3-4 espresso's per day. Customer service for warranty is not the best either. I have called only to hear a recording saying that the call volume is too high and to call back. This has gone on for weeks.

We purchased this as a gift for someone else and ended up keeping it because it looked SO nice and perfect for us. I waited until now to write a review because we were out of the country until now, and just began using it. We love it SO much and we are happy we did not give it as a gift to someone else! We love the way it smells wonderful while grinding of the coffee beans, making espresso with creama on top, and the fact that we can make cappuccinos by foaming the milk! I hope it lasts a lifetime! It is incredible and would recommend it!

I’ve had a low-end De’Longhi for years, but fell in love with this model when I house-sat for some friends who have one. The pressure gauge is key! It helps me know whether I need to tweak any features of my espresso pulls. The espresso produced is rich, flavourful, with abundant crema. The stainless steel design makes cleanup simple and quick. The magnetic tamper has a very satisfying tactile feedback when being removed from and stowed into its spot on the machine. From this to the little “empty me” sign that floats up when the catch tray gets full, it is evident that this beautiful machine was expertly and thoughtfully designed. Not everyone can afford this kind of investment into coffee quality, but if you can, it is 100% worth it.

It's an amazing product, with a lot of doc and guidelines to help you get the right Expresso. I have tried other Expresso machines in the past, but I couldn't get the right temperature or flavor from ground coffee.

This mak a awesome espresso and Lattes. I bought my second one of these machines after 6 years of use and gave it to my you youngest son in college. This machine is amazing and reliable. I highly recommend this machine.

I waited a year as I was on the fence about switching from regular drip coffee to espresso because I knew it would drive my cost of machine and beans up. One week in and we were sold. We should have bought it sooner. The machine itself is really easy to figure out to make your perfect cup of espresso, Americano, latte, or cappuccino. Worth it
