I use it every morning to make breakfast, and also for paninis. The interchangeable plates are quick to swap out and clean. And the unit heats up quickly. It's my most used kitchen gadget. My only wish is that I could turn off the top plate when I'm only using the bottom as a griddle. But that's not a big deal. This is my 3rd Breville appliance and they're all wonderful. I also like that they all match.
We love this press, it really works well and the reversible plates are great. We use the flats on Sunday mornings for pancakes then leave them on until lunch for grilled cheeses. The panini plates work really well and cook up your food very quickly. We’ve cooked a lot of stuff on these, including chicken breasts. My one complaint is that the unit is not level on the main (bottom) side, so if you are cooking eggs, then run through the opening on the side of the plate and drip into the drip tray. The top side lays flat. Also, the actual temperature of the plates seems to be a little lower than the dials indicate, which is not a big deal.

we got this sear press since a month now, and almost using it on a daily base. also took it to our camping trip where it was very officiant.

The Sear & Press Grill is undoubtedly the best appliance of its kind on the market in 2023. Easy to use, easy to clean and it makes the best toasted sandwich I've ever had! Its rock solid construction means its up to any task and the heat intensity is awesome and easy to control.

Missed the mark! Does not sear meat. Ruined 3 prime rib steaks. Almost like grilling on warm pan. So disappointed. Have bought over 20 Breville appliances - including 2 oracle touch espresso machines, oven, etc. Love them all. But this Sear & Press Grill are very poor. Going to return for sure.

Absolutely love this press. We use it for panini’s, pancakes, hamburgers and even heating pizza. The adjustable top plate allows us to heat the top of the pizza along with the bottom. I do like that the plates can be set to different temps. And, being able to store it upright allows it to fit perfectly in my cabinet. Highly recommend. It is a little pricey but with the Breville name, I have high expectations that it will prove itself to be worth it.
