Breville® the Bambino™ Stainless Steel Espresso Maker

Three-second warm-up is amazing! I realized just how much I was avoiding using my previous machine that had to be warmed up for 5 minutes. Frother works well. I get good texture with it with both regular and non-dairy milk. The machine comes with everything you need - tamper, single- and double-walled portafilter baskets, and a frothing cup. I was surprised by how much you can customize it. The one-cup and two-cup buttons have factory pre-sets which determine how long the machine will extract espresso, but you can customize that time and you can run it in essentially manual mode if you want to time the extraction yourself rather than letting the machine do it. I've had the machine for about a month, and so far, I am very happy. Keep in mind that this is not a high-end machine - the metal cladding is thin, a few parts (e.g. the metal insert over the tray that collects liquid below the portafilter) feel cheap-ish. But, given the price, this machine rocks.

I love the design and choice of colours you can get with the Breville Bambino. The design is sleek and stylish and it's made to fit perfectly on any counter top. You don't need a big coffee machine to make your perfect barista coffee, this machine does it all. One thing that did surprise me is how light the machine and all it's components are. I'm used to larger coffee machines so was so surprised at how light weight the Bambino is. So just keep that in mind. It makes a fantastic coffee, it's just right and I love the steam wand it makes perfect fluffy milk as I like for my latte. The Bambino is definitely a winner.

Had the Bambino about a month now and it works very well. Got this small model for convenience as it was the smallest model, pretty happy with it!

After less than a year of ownership, the unit developed a leak in the tank that visibly drained out of the bottom behind the drip tray.

I did one and it was the best thing I had but it was taken in the divorce lol dam it . One day I'll afford another

We've had this machine for at least two years, and it's performed flawlessly throughout. We use it pretty exclusively for Americano's and make 2-5 cups each morning. When requested by guests for an after-dinner coffee, we get regular, unsolicited comments on how good a coffee it makes. Totally pleased with this unit and recommend it highly for both quality and durability.

Lovely machine. Compact and easy to maintain as well as simple to navigate and get the best coffee and milk out of it.

Very good looking machine at a good price. But The included portafilter is aluminum with plastic lining which isn't mentioned anywhere. I don't think it is healthy that hot acidic coffee touches aluminum or plastic before drinking it.
