I have used this oven to toast, bake and broil, and it does all very well. It is well built and sturdy and easy to learn to use. It heats up quickly, and the light comes on a few seconds before the it finishes cooking so you can see if what you are cooking is done before you open it. It makes a good toaster and second oven. A 9 by 13 pan without handles will fit in it.
After lots of research I bought this oven 2 1/2 years ago, spending more money than I normally would on it because I wanted a quality product. I loved the oven and its features until one day it would not turn on. The display was completely dead. I discovered that the thermal fuse had gone out on it and it would cost about $100 to have it repaired. Being someone who is willing to fix things myself, I went online and tried to order the part so that I could replace it. It seems that this is a very common problem with these ovens, and the part is unavailable. Some customers complained online that they have had to replace this part more than once. It has been on back order from the factory for some time with no indication of when it will be available again. I'm tired of waiting for the part so I'm searching for a new oven. I won't be buying a Breville again. I am very disappointed that I wasted my money on a product that does not last very long.

I got this a year and half ago and the button has been sticking for several months. I thought it was just the machine…then my daughter used it and said hers was not that hard to turn on. It seems to stick. I hope Breville will stand behind their product and be able to fix this or replace. Their stuff is not cheep and why I usually shop their brand above others

We absolutely love our Breville Smart Oven Pro. This is our second one on 10 years. It does everything we need from making a full meal for a family of 4 to baking cookies.

I bought my first Breville BOV845BSS back in 2018. After about 2 1/2 yrs of use the Convection Fan started getting noisy. So I ordered another. After 4 months the Convection fan became noisy. Called Customer Service. Sent it back and Breville sent me a Refurbished one. Less than a month the Convection Fan became noisy. Called Customer Service. Sent the Refurbished one back and this time Breville sent me a brand new replacement. Not a refurbished one. I plugged it in to test for a noisy fan and it is quiet for now, but with being on my fourth BOV845BSS, I’m not confident that this new one won’t develop a noisy fan too. Not very good odds I’d say.

We recently had an issue with our toaster oven and contact customer service. They had us ship it to them at no cost. Within a week of them receiving it, they sent us a new unit. This is our third Breville toaster oven. They are so well-made and we use ours 90% of the time versus our large oven. We are even looking at buying one for our next RV.
