Brookstone® BioSense™ Layer Adjust Memory Foam Standard Bed Pillow

I bought this pillow many months ago at BBB. I keep trying it from time to time, but it is not very good, and I have basically given up on it. No matter which way the layers are arranged, it does not support my big head. If you have a small head, it might give you a good night's sleep.

I've been on the hunt for pillows that work for me for a long time. Because these can be easily adjusted by adding/removing/using different combinations of the three layers, I thought they might work. I tried them out for several nights, using different combinations until I found what was most comfortable for me. I actually could use two different combinations and be satisfied, so I kept the layer I'm currently not using, and will swap it out if the one I'm using starts to fail at some point. I'm a stomach/side sleeper, so I need a pillow that's more flat and little more firm. I like the firmness that the memory foam layer provides, and the medium and/or soft layer on top of it gives it just enough give that I don't feel like I'm sleeping on a brick. All three layers together were too high/firm and cranked my neck to an uncomfortable angle, no matter which way I tried to lay on it. It might be good as a support pillow if I was sitting up in bed to read or watch tv, but not to sleep on. I think most pillows are overpriced, but with the coupon, this one wasn't too bad. Overall, I'm happy with this pillow and would recommend it if you have the Goldilocks syndrome, like me.

I have had chronic neck pain for over 2 years and tried pillow after pillow to find relief. I would change pillows every few days to every of couple of weeks. I tried the Brookstone Bio Sense pillow last year and rearranged and removed one of the inner pillows until it felt comfortable. I decided to give it a good trial period and kept using the pillow even though the neck pain was still there at first. Gradually after a few weeks I did notice the pain was going away. I knew that due to the length of time that I had been dealing with the pain that it would take a while to get better if it was going to. Well it has. I sleep much better and I'm pretty sure I have some arthritis but the crinic pain is greatly improving. This newest pillow is an extra pillow for our RV so I will also sleep better when traveling.

I have been searching for a good firm pillow for years and I've finally found it. If you are a side sleeper like me this is an excellent pillow. So far it's held it's shape and I'm going to buy a second one today. I like that you can switch out the inside to customize based on your sleep preferences.

My wife was having severe pain in the back and the neck. We knew it had to be the pillow since she tried to make her existing pillow as firm as possible. But the results were in vain and we wanted to try yet another pillow. Noticed the brookstone Layer Adjust with its variable options and wanted to give it a try.
