I was looking for a natural face wash, something that wouldn't leave my face feeling dry or irritated, and I found it! This face wash is creamy with a perfect amount of grit. My face feels smooth and hydrated. The smell doesn't bother me at all. If you're looking for a foamy fruity face wash, this isn't the one. I'm currently using this product with the Renewal Firming Day Lotion; my face looks and feels amazing.
I love Burts Bees products and I always pick them over anything else. I bought this Renewal cleanser today and used it to take off my makeup. I was surprised when I felt teeny tiny beads as I was washing my face. It wasn't pleasant. And I'm surprised that the tube does not say that there are beads in the formula. Well, I have many other Burts Bees products that I love. Just not this one.

I was in Seattle for a quick weekend getaway and realized that I left my usual face cleanser at home. I stopped and picked this up at the local drugstore. This stuff is amazing. I use a retinol at night after cleansing. When O woke up the next morning, my skin texture was even more beautiful. I went ahead and used it that morning and put nothing on except my vitamin c and sunscreen. Once again, at the end of my day, the texture of my skin was so smooth and refined looking. I didn’t find it hard to rinse off, but I use a rag made for cleansing the face. LOVE this cleanser over my expensive one from the esthetician.

This is one of the worst smelling face washes I have ever encountered. I have used and loved many Burt's Bees products in the past but I simply cannot stand the smell of this face wash. I also feel like I really have to scrub to get my make up off.

I like Burt's Bees products, but this cleanser didn't work well for me. Took too much time and water to rinse off. Even after using toner, I still could feel some scrubbing particles on my skin.

This is more of a scrub than a cleanser. I was excited to try a natural exfoliant but instead I got a gristle (albeit natural) that was supposed to help exfoliate. Any esthetician I've ever spoken to said to avoid facial scrubs, for they cause microdermabrasions on the face that can lead to breakouts. After one use my face felt scratchy and uncomfortable. If I knew this was what the product was, I wouldn't have made the purchase. Now I'm stuck with an open container for which I can't get a refund. Very disappointing

Doesn't dry out the face and I like it, not sure if it is really any better than any other exfoliating cleanser?

Used & really loved Intense Hydration cleanser for many years until discontinued. Tried Renewal. It is NOT gentle - little shards of something are scratchy and wrong for my aging skin, the scent is seriously unpleasant to me and it is harder to rinse off.
