My 3 month old daughter had a horrible eczema flair up and after trying several other products with no luck and a huge waste of money. I decided to try this multipurpose ointment after reading numerous reviews about how it worked for other little ones with eczema issues. All I can say is WOW! After 48 hours and applying the oniment at least 3 times a day her skin is back to being baby soft and the eczema has been relieved.
Yes, this stuff lasts a long time because a little goes a long way. With that in mind I have been using this product for 8 years, and when I purchase I purchase 2 at a time. I recently ran out about 1 month ago, went to place a new order only to find out the label was different; thinking oh they just changed the label. To my surprise, once I opened it to find out that the ointment is NOT the same!!! I was devastated! The new formula is not new and improved, it’s less rich and smells terrible. The old formula’s moisture lasted for my baby for at least 12 or more hours. The new one has to be reapplied after 3 hours. The consistency for the new one is too smooth. I like the fact that the old one actually had the Shea seeds you could see and feel. The seeds actually added to the greatness. The old formula has a more natural smell like shea butter and frankincense, but the new one smells artificial. Please I’m begging Burt’s Bees to revert the formula back. I’m very dissatisfied with the new multipurpose ointment.

Very good product it does not sting when my 6-month-old has severe eczema flare ups. It will have a true balm texture at colder temps with warmer temps it starts to become more of a thick oil.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This multipurpose healing ointment smells and feels amazing. It is not greasy or oily at all. Its amazingly smooth and the skin feels soft and hydrated for hours and hours. It's great on rough elbows and feet.

The label on the product is not clear that it contains sweet almond oil, although the web ingredients state it. This should be more distinct that it is not nut free. Babies can develop an allergy even without ingesting the ingredient in food. Not everyone is up on Latin terms - prunus amygdalus dulcis. Of course we need to educate ourselves more as companies couch ingredient contents all the time. Respect for this company is now non-existent.

I had tried this ointment at my sisters and loved it, but something changed in the formula, this is nothing like the one she has. I was super excited when you received but so disappointed when I tried it out

5 stars On the ORIGINAL formula but everyone who knows, this new formula is terrible. I am certain its making a large customer base reconsider Burt’s Bees and affecting your reputation. I know it is for me and my growing family. I’ve used your product for over 15 years and now my own growing family but I’m not sure anymore… Please send out a statement that the original formula will be available soon. Otherwise your customer base is going to go elsewhere. This cheap/new formal smells awful and staines everything it touches, let alone it’s in not affective. I use to put this on daughter and my self, I cherished that original product. Now this new product is a1 ⭐️ real miss. Please send this to your product developers, your customer base is worth the cost. Hope to hear from you, Dan

Seems like a good natural alternative to petroleum jelly, I mostly use it on my very dry feet after moisturizing to lock in the moisture.
