I love the way these stack to save space in the cabinet. The stacking feature will also presumably keep them from getting scratched while stacked. The only problem I have noticed so far is that the small grips on the large lid get very hot while in use.
I have been a Calphalon user for many years and when this product came out, I was intrigued. So, we bought a complete set about 10 months ago and discovered some short comings. Some may be okay with it, some may not. First, the fact that you could use metal utensils was one of the main reasons we purchased this product. Using a simple metal spoon to stir seems to be fine, but when we used a metal whisk while making a gravy the bottom of the pan looks to be severly scratched. It still seems to be non-stick, but we do not use metal utensils on that pan anymore which defeats why we bought these pans in the first place. Second, the pans need to be stacked in a certain way due to the number of lids and the diameter of the pans. This sometimes leads to having several pans stacked inside each other and difficult to get out the one you need. This is not Calphalon's fault, but just something to consider. Or you can put lids on each individual pot/pan, but this defeats the space-saving nature of the pans. Third, and I should have thought this through. With no center knob on the cover, it takes two hands to remove/replace a hot lid which is not always convenient when you want to just do a quick stir or while holding the pan handle. I admit this is a necessary design to be space-saving, I just didn't think of the impact it would have while cooking. Lastly, from all the stacking/unstacking the edges around the opening of the pan are getting worn down by the bottoms of the pan being put inside of it during storage. All of our inner edges are now silver. This does not impact their ability to cook, but these were gorgeous pans when we bought them. Less than a year later, the look like we've had them for years which is disturbing based on what we paid for them.

After one year the handle came off of the lid. Gentle use; hand washed no oven. I can’t believe Calphalon makes an expensive set that is this cheaply made.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even if you have plenty of room in your kitchen, the nesting / stacking geature will keep things well organized. The interchangeable lids are super convenient as they will work on any pot or pan in the collection. I was surprised how much I now rely in the glass lids to check on my cooking. The only reason I give a four star review is that after about six months of frequent use, the exterior of the pans are collecting stains from burn marks and food drips and bow longer appear as nice as the once did.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Really nice and heavy/sturdy set. It seems to heat very evenly, which is nice. I think the lids are a little weird but it's probably only because I am not used to them yet. The stacking feature is really nice and it is innovative how Calphalon thought to stack it because it does not sit surface to surface on the non-stick material and mar the surface. Overall, it's 5 out of 5 stars for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a high-quality and affordable option to replace and upgrade the myriad of random items we either received from our wedding 10-years ago or have amassed over the years. The Calphalon Premier 10-piece set did the job! I love how they stack together to easily store and they look sharp and premium. Cooking with them is amazing - food cooks evenly and quickly.
