When I was looking for a new set of pans, I had a few things that I wanted in my new set: - I wanted a set where the lids fit across the pots as well as the pans - I wanted something compact so that I could easily store all of the pots and pans in the set - I wanted something non-stick - I wanted something durable/heavy kind of like cast iron feel since I have a gas stove This set met a lot of those basic expectations. I love that the lids on the pots can cover the pans. For some reason this is not the norm for pots and pans and I cannot for the life of me understand why (actually I do, but let's not get into greediness today, yeah?). Because you can stack the pots and pans together, this set easily fit in the space that I needed, which was really nice. I do like the way that food cooks in these pans. Some things are better than others. For example, grilled cheese shows up very nice in these pans, with a crispy exterior and a little golden. The set has a nice weight to it, which is great with the gas stove top. With all that said, I am a little disappointed in this set. It states that you can use metal utensils. If that's the case, they didn't test it with the set that I had because it's scratched without hardly using the darn thing. My husband and I were careful when we first got this set. Still, barely 6 months into having it, I now have some deep scratches in my new pans. As for being non-stick, it really isn't after a while. I've had this set for about a year and half now and eggs stick in the smallest pan, which I use on a regular basis. As for design, I love that the lids fit both the pots and the pans. However, the lids are flat, which I understand helps with storage. However, if you're cooking something where you don't want the steam in your dish, it's really inconvenient. The water collects on the top and drips into your dish. The biggest issue I have with this is cooking bacon, where you want to cook it slow and with the lid, but you really don't want the water. Who wants boiled bacon? Another issue with the design is how hot the handles of the lids get as well as the handles on the largest pot. They get really hot while cooking! I need to use gloves in order to handle them, which kind of defeats the purpose, in my opinion. All in all, they're not bad. However, I certainly wouldn't buy them again and I don't think I'd recommend them either. Not worth the money for what you get.
Corroded edges and spot on top and bottom of all pans
Says it is metal utensi safe. Nope. Not true. 6 mos of owning and the bottom of the pots and pans are scraped and peeling
I bought this because my family kept using metal utensils on previous pots and pans and Capholon claimed that this would not affect the surface on their material. I spent a lot of money thinking it would be worth it if they last longer and now find they haven’t lasted any longer than the less expensive non stick surface pots and pans. I can’t recommend purchasing this brand. I would give zero stars but it doesn’t let me

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought these four years ago. I have enjoyed cooking with them. I’ve had two problems v when I burned something I had problems getting it off the pans and ruined the surface. I also used oil to brown when frying and the surface of my skillets is dull. I did not realize how frying also stains the outside of the pans.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Space Saving, amazing! Easy to stack and hang or manage in shelves or drawers I love that these pans are easy to clean and cook with. I have had different sets over the years that I always give away in a move, but I always come back. The only way they could possibly be better is if they washed themselves!

I have only ever used silicone spatulas and utensils, but still after only a short period of time, the cooking surface has become scratched and it no longer nonstick. I expected better from a premium set / company
