I am an interior designer and have used many drapery rods. Most of them I purchased wholesale, but you can't beat the looks, price and function of the Cambria Premiere drapery hardware! These short rods are my go to rods for stationary drapery side panels. My installer used to cut down other rods but not since I found these!
I had been searching forever trying to find short drapery rods. I saw this look in a lot of model homes and I loved it. When I finally found these, I was ecstatic. These are really good quality but extremely difficult to hang. If you are not extending the rod longer the 12 inches than it is not so difficult. If you extend it over 12 inches then the rod part that extends out further will likely be resting on the bracket. You can hang the brackets exactly level but if they are resting on the extended rod it will look uneven because it is a few mm lower. It is visible and annoying. If you adjust how you hand the brackets to accommodate for this then the brackets will look uneven. We ended up putting a little piece of cardboard that was not visible to accommodate for this on one set of them. The other thing that is difficult is that you have to get the curtains on perfect around the two brackets. May all seem simple and no big deal but we spent a lot of time trying to get these issues corrected.

The black has a brown tinge to them they are not the black they used to be. They have changed these. I would not purchase if your wanting a true black

This was the only place to find short rods for framing curtains on our large windows. They were delivered quickly, easy to install and were exactly as advertised. We would definitely purchase them again.
These have quickly become the only curtain rods I use. We have blinds on our windows and I needed something to give the windows a "pick me up." These are perfect to use for decorative panels! Makes dressing up the window and the room easy.
I love my short rods! They are so elegant and gives my home a magazine look. So in love
I purchased this product. The instructions were very vague. The brackets I placed on the wall west to east which were really to hard to hold to get an accurate placement instead of placing it north to south. My drapery panel was 50”x 108” because I have 20’ ceilings. And I wanted the panel to barely touch the carpet and stay to the side. The product was heavy metal which I liked.
love the look of this, can put up high above window for a great unique look when having extra long sheers, etc -- looks great !
These should not be advertised to 20 inches extended because they sink in the middle when fully extended, you can only expand it to about 16 inches usable space. They look nice but don't serve the purpose that's advertised. It's disappointing because I only went with this brand because of this size and now I am having a hard time matching the larger Cambria rods that I have already installed.

These rods extends a bit over 20” without any sag, but yes over 20" this could potentially be an issue. We hope it worked out correctly.
