A very nice little tea kettle! Others have complained about the plastic smell - it comes from the lid and the handle, and doesn't really affect the water. But if you want to get rid of the plastic smell, don't waste your time with vinegar, baking soda, etc. The secret is isopropyl alcohol - rubbing alcohol. Swab down the plastic parts with a paper towel with some isopropyl on it, then wash with soap and water. You might have to repeat it a couple of times, but trust me, it WILL get rid of the smell.
The Kettle is absolutely beautiful and looks wonderful in the kitchen. But... Bad smell and taste of the (bottled) water stays even after many uses. The auto shut-off does not work reliably, and with the little blue indicator light it is hard to determine if the power is on. Kettle was on for hours, burned dry, which is in my eyes very dangerous. This happened now several times. I will throw this away, it is not worth the 60$.

Loved this tea kettle so much, makes the best cup of tea it boils the water perfectly. My first one broke (cat error) so when I went to get another it was unavailable so I bought a different brand as soon as this came back in stock I gave my new one to my daughter and ordered this one again! Nothing in my eyes competes it’s easy to use, clean the product is sturdy well made.
Loved.loved loved this product when we bought it. We used it every day. But now, just 8 months after we bought it, it suddenly stopped heating. Very disappointing.
I own two of these it is a good looking glass Kettle it boils quickly has automatic shut off
I use this every single day. I love the convenience, but any of these types of kettles will heat water fast. What I think sets this apart is its great looks -- very classy -- and ease of cleaning.

The electric tea kettle arrived used. As in someone had quite extensively used the pot, lots of water scale in the bottom. They were very nice at the store when I returned it. Decided not to wait another week for a hopefully new one to arrive.
I had one before and loved it. This one is just as good.
I start my day with a little pour-over coffee. I admit there is some pomp and circumstance that a cup of coffee might not deserve, but it is my cup-a-joe. This kettle is icing on the cake for me. I love the style and ease of pouring. You wont be dissapointed. My only critique is it takes a bit of a tug to keep the top open for filling.
