Casper Original 11" Hybrid King Mattress

I’ve never regretted a purchase more. It feels great the first couple of weeks but now I wake up multiple times throughout the night with back pain. Even after rotating, which honestly was worse, the pain continued. They just aren’t made well. The mattresses are unevenly put together which contributes to the pain (middle is higher than the rest). Just don’t do it. You’ll regret it. Wish I listened to other reviews.

Let me add to the chorus -- this is an excellent mattress! We purchased the Queen-sized original hybrid for a guest room -- the one in which our longer-stay visitors are placed (ie 3-7 nights). Consumer Reports said it was the most versatile option -- for a multitude of sleep types. Since we were planning it to be for guests, this made sense, we thought. Fast forward about 18 months, many guests later. They have all raved about how comfortable the bed is. We even moved into that room during some renovations, spending about 5 to 6 weeks on the guest bed. We also loved it. Soft, comfortable, and suited to back, side and stomach sleeping. Our mattress sits on a simple platform bed with wood slats and it's just as sturdy as one would hope. Now looking at the king-sized version so we can have this comfort in our own room, too. .

We brought Casper the Friendly Hybrid into our bedroom three nights ago. After twenty years on our thirty-year-old Posturepedic, I’m learning not to fight the bed as I fall asleep, but to surrender to its lush embrace. I was leery of smelly memory-foam, having overheated horribly every other time I've tried to sleep on it (it's a popular guest-bed mattress I dread). But the Hybrid has almost no odor, and though I was a bit too warm the first two nights, yesterday I removed the cushioned mattress cover and swapped out the sheets for a cooler percale, and bada-boom! Woke up this morning with no over-tightened piano wire in my neck - or aches anywhere - for the first time in years! (Withheld the fifth star until I can confirm I've solved the sleeping-hot issue.) Ironic that it took Casper to stop our being haunted all day by the effects of an evil mattress…

I bought a king size original hybrid and I love it. No more night sweats and no more tossing and turning. Couldn't be happier with the purchase.

I loved that UPS delivered my Hybrid mattress in a box and I didn't have to pay extra for delivery and I didn't have to be home. I EASILY unboxed, unwrapped and put it on my bed. Slept in it within the hour. I love the way this mattress feels on my body when I sleep! I would give this 10 stars!!! Mary
