Numerous defects, such as delamination, burrs, scratches and dirty residue were found on most of the knives. And before you question my ability to make judgement calls regarding quality, I have been a quality inspector/investigator for the past 8 years and I have worked as a warranty claim investigator for the past year.

We absolutely love these knives! Especially like how the steak knives are not serated as no good steak knife should ever need to be. The scissors also have an amazing box opener in the handle so you never have to use the actual blades and dull them down. They also separate very simply and quickly for easy cleaning between the blades... something you can't ever do right on other scissors. Wish the set had the "sandwich" knife instead of the smaller santoku but that's our only very minor complaint. The built in sharpener is also very convenient.

Knives came sharp. Like the looks and feel of them. Cant find anything to complain about yet. Have had them a few weeks.

I love this new silver knife set. It includes a pair of well constructed scissors and 8 steak knives, 8 other knives and a sharpener. Works perfectly. You must hand wash set only to keep it looking new. Highly recommended!

Love this knife set. Knives are very sharp and the included sharpener in the block is nice. The block is really pretty as well. The photo of the block doesn't do it justice. Looks great and great product.

Purchased this set a few monfhs ago and love it. Comfortable handles. Sharpe blades cit anything. Handly citting sjears included as well as steak knives and sharpening slot. Tjey also wash well by hand. Have not used the dishwasher to wash them. Very durable and great quality. Highly recommended.

I bought these knives less than 24 hours ago. When I opened the box, I noticed that the wood block was not covered with the plastic bag. The bag was bunched around the bottom of the block, as if someone opened the box, took out the block, and put it back in. Also, some of the finish was scraped off one side of the block. I can live with that. What I can't live with is that the Chef's Knife has a sharp, jagged protuberance on one side between the blade and the handle. I noticed it when I was washing the knife and it snagged my dishcloth. Can I exchange one knife? The other knives are okay.
