Purchased this set to replace my old set of knives from 2006….so excited that they still make/carry this handle set as I like the design….the updated block color also adds a nice pop of color to my counter and you can never go wrong with the quality of Chicago Cutlery!
Just returned. Within two day these knives developed rust. And that’s even after I hand washed and towel dried.

I’m so happy with my new purchase of these knives. They all cut beautifully and look so great out on my kitchen counters which has a gray/blue color theme. Great upgrade from my previous old set!

After the first week of having them, I noticed a rust spot. 7 months in and they are even worst. Complete waste of money. Invest your money else where!

Hello Jennifer, we're sorry to hear this. We want to let you know that stainless steel can still rust. This is a natural reaction that the steel has with minerals in your water. We’d recommend a nonabrasive cleaner called Bar Keeper’s Friend to remove the rust and restore your knives for future use. Please keep in mind that the knives should be hand washed and dried immediately. If you need assistance with anything else, please contact our Customer Care team.
The knives are fine but the block doesn’t fit one of the big knives. I sent an email requesting a new block and still no response.
The grey wash block is a nice touch, knives are light, but very sharp. Very happy with this set!

Took several weeks to research and review a new set of knives for our kitchen. Finally making a decision to purchase Chicago Cutlery 13 pc set w/block we couldn't wait for their arrival. Well during the time they were in route, we visited our home in CT where my parents reside. The block of knives we left for their use 6 years ago...Chicago Cutlery! Unconsciously, we forgot. Intuitively we (as the knives) are consistent.
If you are looking for a set of sharp knifes these are the ones. The steak knifes are very light weight. Great for cutting steak.
I have had a Chicago Cutlery knife for several years, and love it, which led me to buy this set. It was extremely disappointing to see the poor quality of the knives. They seem flimsy, the serrated knife wasn’t moulded properly, and the wooden block looked like a rush job with unfinished edges and polish.
