I ordered 2 of these because of their height. They fit perfectly in the closet under my hanging clothes. I was tired of fishing for shoes in the dark of my sliding door closet. They are sturdy and have a brace running across the back. I easily assembled the first one with no problem. But, the directions were not specific. I assembled the second only to find the ends were mismatched, not realizing there were holes only on one side of each end. Everything came together with ease until I needed to afix the brace. I was unable to pull it apart because it is so sturdy. I took it to my local BB&B store for help. There was a very patient young employee who had the strength to fix the problem. So, word of warning, check the ends to be sure the holes are facing the same way.
The product is extremely hard to put together because of the poor design. What's worse, the product is sooooo fragile that the metal is easily fractured before i can push the rack together. Finally I had to return it but it is even harder to dismantle it apart. Bed Bath & Beyond always has the high-quality products, but I don;t know why this shoe rack is such a mess.

I’m very disappointed in this product given how much I’ve paid. I’ve probably had 15 hangers break so far. My clothes are not heavy - I live in a warm state and wear a size 0, so these are just breaking due to poor quality. I wish I would’ve purchased from somewhere else.

It's easy to access and to see what's in each section!
I like that these were not silver or gold! So they go with any hardware used in your home. And of course they are slim .so you can fit many more hangers in your closet.
Hangers are nice but top comes loose. Would not use with heavy items, eg, out wear coats and jackets otherwise workable.
