Keeps wine fresh for weeks
I love my Coravin. If you are the only wine drinker in the house it really helps extend the life of the wine.
These work great with the Coravin to keep wine fresh longer. It's very nice they came up with this ideal so you're not throwing out the wine, esepcially red wine, that does not keep long. It does work, but control with the coravin when using, so not to dispense all the capsule.
Excellent for saving opened wine over an extended period of time.
The Coravin system is not cheap, but I think it's worth it to be able to open a nice bottle of wine, not finish it and know that it will not have been exposed to air which causes deterioration in the flavor. You can start with a white and move to a red, open a Pinot one night and a Cab the next - all knowing the cork is still in there keeping it fresh.
I huffed like six of these and the dolphins and cats both agreed it did not work.
