I wish the appliance manual was available with the description. Alert BBBeyond - there is incorrect information on this item's description. (see below). The positives: Inexpensive, small footprint, easy to read water levels, brews great coffee (slightly hotter than my former Krups which failed after many years), can use a #2 filter if preferred. The challenges: Very Very light weight (have to use both hands when prepping), has no auto-off (the description says there is a warming setting. This is NOT TRUE. There is an ON/OFF button only. The other thing I found a little surprising is that the basket holding the filter is a "floating" basket. It is not attached to the machine, but the wet coffee grounds are enough to keep it stable. Initially, I found the floating basket to be a concern, but after using it a few times, I found it makes disposing of the wet grounds much easier. It is also much easier to keep the machine clean because the basket is removable. So this turned out to be a plus.
Machine works well but the product is misleading. It's advertised as making 5 cups, but they use 5 oz "cup" rather than the standard 8 oz cup. So the machine can only brew 24 oz of coffee, not 40 oz

I bought this for guests since I don't drink coffee, and I like that it was small because I don't have a lot of counter top space. I also like the filter system, so I don't need to buy coffee filters, especially since I'll only use it when having guests. I knew it made only 5 cups, but I don't think the description meant 8 oz cups, because my guests got only 2 mugs of coffee when brewed. So in that respect, it's better than a single brew like a Keurig, but if you want more than 2 cups of coffee, you'll need a bigger coffee maker than this one. I still like it though because it does take up less counter top space, but sometimes brewing 2 cups at a time is not sufficient. My guests said the coffee was good, so it does the job well, just in small quantities. The description should be more specific, and for that I subtracted one star.

Nice size for 1 or 2 people that want some coffee but not coffee all day
I wanted a simple coffee maker that did not take up too much room in my small kitchen. These not not that easy to find. Was so happy to find this one at Bed Bath and Beyond. Its not a well known name brand and I must admit I was a bit hesitant. However I took the plunge and could not be happier. It does a great job of making coffee. Easy to clean and it's price did not break the bank!.
Works just the way it is supposed to. Easy cleaning, easy care.
The size for a two cup guy like me is perfect. The hot plate keeps the coffee hot! Easy pour and more. Would give five stars if it had auto shut off...
