A Great Time Saver in the Kitchen Lovey ·

I have used a food processor for many years. The one I had previously, a KitchenAid, served me very well for about 20 years. However, I did some research, and relying on America's Test Kitchen, I selected this Cuisinart. It is not the Cuisinart ATK recommended - they recommended the 14-cup but this has worked perfectly for me. I love the adjustable slicing blade and the different feed tubes. I also like the dicing blade. It is great to use and has made many cutting, chopping, shredding tasks so much easier.

Difficult to clean after using dicer Mgg49 ·
Recommended Not Recommended

A lot of the vegetables get caught between the blades of the dicer before even entering the dicer itself. You get a lot of pieces trapped between the lid and blade and is difficult not to spill when removing the lid due to accumulation. Would be really messy with soft juicy vegetables like tomatoes. It can be hard to get pieces out of the lid when cleaning. I need to use a toothbrush to get into the crevices because the pieces won’t rinse out. Haven’t used it for dough. Happy with other features. Haven’t used it for liquids yet so I don’t how complaints from others is true about liquids spilling out around the lid.

It is great. I have grated cheese for home made pizzas and carrots for egg roll bowls. I cubed sweet potatoes for Southwest Skillet dinner. Chopped onions in a split second with no tears.

I am unhappy with the batter, food etc getting stuck under the blade.

Gave as a gift- she loves it! BB&B Customer ·

Gave as a gift to my daughter. Box is huge! She thought it was too big at first, but kept it and made two quiches with it the next day. Shredded cheese, made pie dough. She’s enjoying it

So far so good. OrganicGirl ·

It seems to work great, we've had it 2 months. My only criticism is that the small bowl (which is a GREAT addition), is hard to figure out and which blades work with it. Otherwise, it is a great time save, seems more sturdy than my previous processor. We've used the dicing disc and that also worked well.

Positives: This can do it all including dicing. Power and efficiency are better than expected. Blades and attachments are sharp and long lasting. All work as designed. Negative: I use often so it sits on the counter, I wish I had better storage location out of sight. This may be a problem for a-lot of people. You need a spot for three things; Machine and two utensil storage containers. Cleaning can be time consuming, no one loves this. The design has a lot of nooks and crannies that can only be rinsed and impossible to dry with a towel. Everything being clear this affects my impulsive behavior syndrome. But I think acceptable if you are in need of this type of machine.

The handle broke off the first day of using it. It broke off when we were putting it away (wasn’t dropped or anything).

Most reliable small appliance I have ever owned! Dadcooks ·

I bought my 1st Cuisinart processor back in about 1980 and felt it was time to retire it. I bought Cuisinart again because of it's proven durability (40+ yrs) and reliability. I love my new processor! It's so eay to operate and the suction cup "feet" keep the base in place while using it. Sorry to say - but I do not miss my original one. It's in a good home as I gave it to my son.
