Fits my needs almost perfectly. Quick brewing, easy to use and comes with the single serve ground coffee adapter even though description says its a separate purchase. The 2 issues are: 1- clock is not illuminated so difficult to see if single serve water is needed 2- difficult to know when water for single serve is low
Do not buy! After going through three Hamilton Beach versions of a dual brew coffee machine I thought I’d give something else a try. For a while there weren’t too many options out there for a machine that has both the full pot and K-cup option in one. Well - what a mistake. This thing is horrible. First - the digital display is an absolute nightmare to read( it’s not backlit). Then the knob, is it really necessary? Making a pot of coffee is a production. To many things you have to do just to brew - turn the knob, press this button, press that button . To top it all off - the single serve side for the K cups doesn’t even work, and shame on me for not trying it out when I first got the thing, but too late to do anything about it now. What a waste of money this piece of junk was. If I wasn’t out of work right now I’d just throw this in the trash and get another Hamilton Beach machine.

The design allows you the option of pod brewing or pot brewing. Really makes it convenient for that afternoon single cup or morning pot of coffee. Timer allows you the option of programming the start brew time and keep hot feature. The only negative is there isn't a way to view the amount of water remaining in the single brew side. Really like and enjoy this coffee center.

I had a relative who owned just a Cuisinart 12 cup Coffee brewer and loves it, so when my coffee pot died. I looked and decided to purchase the Coffee Center Brew Basics giving me the best of both coffee brew options. Although I read the instructions it still takes a little getting used to the button functions. I do wish it had a water level view for the pod brew side, I know that some of the other versions of this pot do, or a removable water tank. There are minor inconveniences. The Coffee Center Brew Basics works great.

Very nice, inexpensive “dual” coffeemaker. I love having brewed and “K-Cup” options available in one unit. I would give this four and a half stars if I could, which is very good, but that option isn’t available here. Few shortcomings overall, but I think the fact there is not a removable water vat(s) is my biggest wish. I think the front info panel is a little clumsy although ultimately usable, and I wouldn’t hesitate to repurchase.

The only thing that I do not like or understand is when you make a single cup and put the amount of water for the size cup. There is always water sitting inside leftover

After buying 3 Keurigs in a row and being unhappy with all of them (returned them), we decided to try Cuisinart. I have always loved my Cuisinart applicances and love the coffee maker. We have just made pod coffee so far, but look forward to having the brewed coffee pot.
