Cuisinart® Compact Kitchen Central Food Processor/Blender in Grey

I have only used the food processor portion so far, and it has performed well. I have not used the blender yet, but if it words as well as the food processor, I will be pleased. My only complaint is the directions aren't real clear regarding switching the blades.

I got a great Black Friday deal for this wonderful food processor. The jar quantity is reasonable and works really well. Each part is easy to clean so no need to worry about the gross looking blades after use. I wish they included a juicer system as well to this so that it would be the one stop solution for all your kitchen needs!

Thisis a TERRIBLE design. The blade is "locked" but only to the other piece, it';s not locked inside the processor bowl at all, so the entire blade assembly falls out into thebowl or dish every time you want to pour out the contents. Removing the blade from the "locked" position to clean it is hazrdous as can be. I almost cut my finger off. I had to get stiches in my index finger and expect to have lifelong nerve damage as a result. my finger will never be the same. Needs re-design for SAFETY!

I agree with the other viewer that reviewed this item. The top lid gets stuck on the processing ball and it is so hard to get off. It happened to me. Several times I almost took a hammer to it plus the pulsating button didn’t work it is truly defective, and I was very frustrated with this item I would not buy it and do not recommend.!!!!

I love the idea of a smaller food processor/blender, which is why I bought this. Would be the right size for a 2 person household. However, The food processor bowl and lid do fit together easily or remove easily. The top got stuck in the locked position and could not be removed . I returned to store and they finally wrestled the top piece off but there is only a certain spot that works when you reassemble it. If, in fact, that was your plan, it needs to be marked on the unit and discussed in the manual. Since the store did not have any of these in stock, I could not get another to confirm that mine was a dud and that others were properly manufactured. And I don't like the fact that most of the thing was plastic. I doubt that I would buy your model in the future.

It was purchased as a Christmas gift so it hasn't been opened yet.

We always had a "standard sized" counter top kitchen appliances. As our family getting smaller over the years, we found the appliances are just too big for us. This Cuisinart unit is just perfect in everyway. Small enough to be very compact and useful. We love it.

This is a great product, however I think the reversible blade should be rethought. I cut my fingers unlocking the blade. I read the booklet before attempting to remove blade because you can’t slice or shread without removing it. Otherwise it’s a great product. I love the blender attachment.
