It was a Thanksgiving gift, and initially I was skeptical it was going to do the job the way I wanted to slice the turkey. HOW WRONG I WAS ! Supremely sharp, maneuverable, and just the right length. Easy to clean and packs up into the cutting board to boot! It will get qa lot of use for sure

We bought it just before Thanksgiving. Mixed reviews about carving a turkey. I suspect that judging the knife based on a first time out is not a fair review. There would be a learning curve when it comes to carving a turkey. I will say that, hands down, using the electric knife, was an upgrade over using a chef's knife. After Thanksgiving, my wife needed to make finger food sandwiches for a baby shower. The knife was great when she needed to cut bread loafs length wise and later to cut the sandwiches into finger food sandwiches. I almost feel guilty giving the rating as only a 4
