I had bought many cheap strainers in the past that fell apart and were mismatched and ugly. It's nice to have well made strainers with more comfortable handles.
We have and old strainer, It's over 25 years old and I thought it was time to get a new one. This one is from a recognizable company but we have two issues with the new one. 1. the Cuisineart only has 1 tab and it is not stable when we use it to strain vegetable or pasta from a pot. the old (no-name) one has two tabs and it remains stable. 2. The Cuisinart is not as deep as our old one. I guess new is not always better.

This product functions well as intended.
These are the perfect strainers because they actually grip the bowl that I balance them on.
Perfect mesh size for sifting flour,powdered sugar,rinsing rice etc.
I haven't had these long but have already used them multiple times. They are a godsend.
i didn't realize how much i needed these until I got them. I love them. All three equally.
I love these strainers. My last set was starting to fail. The mesh was pulling away from the top metal piece. These strainers are great. They are sturdy and can take a fair amount of weight. I use them for straining pasta or rinsing fruit. Plus, they're easy to clean. I recommend these for anyone that needs a sturdy set of strainers.

The strainer is great. It's stainless, and does not rust. I am a little worried where the handles attach. I'm not sure that's a huge issue for what I do, but you might want to take that into consideration.
