I am really enjoying this. I'm 54 and have never had a stand mixer, I thought I didn't really need it., now I am not sure how I've lived this long without it! i Did a lot of research prior to my purchase and settled on this one. It's a quality Item, it fits my needs perfectly and I wish I had purchased this a long time ago!
Returning because of difficulty installing blades. The plastic tabs that hold the blades in place appear very flimsy/insubstantial as confirmed by comments online. No use purchasing a mixer in which the tabs break easily.

After less than two years of minimal use, the paddles and/or bowl are settling and the paddles/whisk no longer reach the bottom of the bowl. Without manually scraping, it fails to fully mix. I’ve tried adjusting the set screw and raising the bowl platform. Cuisinart customer service states it’s designed that way. I don’t think it’s designed to not mix. Very disappointed. Wish I’d have bought the kitchen aid.
Excellent quality, sturdy, quiet, efficient and good looking! If it was only a man! This is the stand mixer I have been waiting for. Its absolutely perfect. Extremely impressed with the quality; everyone else is delighted with the baking gifts rgey are receiving.

purchased this mixer for cookie making. Love the way it mixes the dough so nicely. Adding flour is so easy with the cover on the bowl. No more flour flying out. I also enjoy the dial power setting, so easy compared to the other name brand mixer
