This Cuisinart Stick Blender was bought to replace a Cuisinart Stick Blender we purchased several years ago. We love the new one except for one small issue. This blender requires that the user press the "on" button at the same time as the "start" button. We realize this is probably a safety feature, but for person with limited hand strength, this is difficult thing to do with one hand. A better option would be to push the "on" button, which will stay on; then the user presses the "start" button to start. If a user has large hands, no arthritis, and a lot of hand stick this new smart blender is awesome,
I returned before I used it, so I can't comment on how well it works, but I found the buttons awkward and difficult to hold. You had to hold down one button while also pushing the speed button, and I couldn't do this with one hand.

Works great! Very easy to use and to clean. It has cut down the time on some of my recipes that require letting things cool before blending. It does take a bit longer than my NutriBullet to liquify but not by much. There is still quite a bit of time savings and cleaning from avoiding having to transfer to and from a traditional blender.

This unit is all you need for blending Soups into Creamy delights for whatever you deem an appropriate level of Creamy to Chunky and if you check out youtube you may find many alternate uses as well! The price is right and the motor is strong. Just read the instruction booklet, and cleanup is a breeze. 3 year warranty also

Compared to my last cuisinart immersion blender, this new one has half the power. It’s very weak and takes a long time to blend and actually never gets to the expected results, even with the 2 different powers. Disappointed. If I had the box I would return it!

I have used this item twice so far in the making of Roasted Tomato Soup, and Butternut Squash, and Sweet Potato Soup. This Stick blender performed perfectly and Creamed the soups very well as expected!

The Cuisinart Smart Stick 300 is a great improvement over my old Cuisinart Quick Prep, whose motor failed after years of good service. The new model is distinctly more powerful and much easier to clean. I especially like that the mixing and measuring cup is larger than that which came with the Quick Prep
