I was hesitant to register for such an expensive item, but my husband was convinced that we needed it. I had an old, cheap toaster oven that was on its last leg. We received it as a gift, and we use it all the time. We don't have a microwave, so this is how we cook leftovers (they taste better than in a microwave!), and we also use it for small meals/snacks that need heating. Our last toaster oven took forever to cook anything. Since the door was so flimsy, it lost a lot of heat. The door on this toaster oven is heavier, and it cooks things very quickly, without any preheating required. If a package says 10 minutes - it normally is done by 9. It's fast! I don't like that it's coated in a non-stick surface. We've been trying to avoid extra chemicals, but since it's not on a surface that the food touches, and because the non-stick-free toaster oven selection is limited, we went for it. We've had it for 9 months now, and we're still happy with it! Also, we've found that it's only loud if you turn on the convection fan.
I thought buying this brand would guarantee me a great product. The timer shuts off after 30 minutes and makes a clicking noise the entire time. The toaster feature is not great so I had to buy a separate toaster. I think you can do better for the money

Cuisinart toaster oven is ok for basic toasting and baking. Size is smaller than expected. Not as wide as I thought. Front door slams shut loudly on its own. For the price, it should be more deluxe

The food cannot be slid of the rack because the rod are mounted to the bottom of the support frame. Not very smart!! Not worth a five(5).

Overall, I am very happy with the way this oven toasts. I like all it has to offer although I have only used the toaster and heated up a pizza. My only issue is that the top tray does not slide out when opening the oven door. It is very tight against the walls plus it does not stay in the groove on the walls. When the door is opened, it disconnects from the hook on the glass door , which it was barely connected to after closing the door. I have to use an oven mitt which is cumbersome to get the rack to pull out because it is so tight. Disappointed about that. Maybe mine is defective. It’s as if the hook is not glued in the correct position for this to function properly
