they are very sharp out of the box. They have a nice weight to them for the use.

I adore this set! I have had some good knives through the years, but these are by far the sharpest. They are well made, plus, as a bonus, they are quite beautiful!

I’ve had the knives for 2 weeks and they already have rust spots. I have hand washed them and have never put them in the dishwasher.
