Came well packaged-everything shrink wrapped. Skillet has a nice flat 8" Teflon surface and a clear, vented lid with a more than adequate handle. The cooking temps are Low, Med, High. I didn't see degree settings in the little recipe book that it came with but not a big deal. Cooked up some fried potatoes and then salmon. Did a great job. Dinner prep and cooking came to about 30 minutes. Clean up was quick. The skillet is not immersible but wipes out super easy. I used a soft sponge with a little soap and rinsed it out, then wiped it dry. Lid is completely immersible. I saved the bubble wrap (that the lid came in) to store the plug when not in use. What an even better savings using a coupon. I swear this is easier to clean than a pizza stone!!!
I LOVED these !!! Sadly, after daily usage the non-stick coating comes off, and the metal underneath rusts FAST! From there on, it continues to peel off & rust! It was MY experience which happened again and again in less than 3-4 weeks. I was SO disappointed! I only used silicone & Teflon utensils, and naturally, hand washed the units. I liked these enough that I purchased more than several - thinking "I'll find a good one" which will last... There wasn't... Their non-stick coating comes off...some no doubt was consumed by my family - and no matter how much I loved these skillets ( for the first 2 weeks) - I decided not to purchase another one.!

It is just the right size for one person and takes up very little space!
Open the box today and 1st thing I cooked was 2 sunny side up eggs . Worked great with out any oil and was easy clean up with a moist paper towel.
Good as a skillet & pot. Non-stick make it easy to clean yet small enough to stow away. I like the Dash brand .

Very easy to use cook dumplings ,pan fried bread ,fried eggs . If can make a little bit bigger , l think it will be more perfect.
I was in my local BB&B store buying a gift and saw this little skillet. I bought the last one...I think it was just waiting for me. My stove stop is broken so until I can get my kitchen remodeled, I've been using alternative methods of cooking. I have a large electric skillet but I've frequently thought I'd like to have a smaller one also...and now here it is. I've been using it for about a week and am extremely pleased! It heats quickly and evenly and cleans easily. Yes, you have to be careful not to get water in the element when washing it but that is easy to do. It works perfectly for my purposes and if it holds up, I think I'll be using it frequently instead of a cook top. I'm so glad I discovered it in the store that day. Additionally, using a coupon, I got it for an incredibly good price. Thank you Dash and BB&B!

Nice size skillet for 2 people. Made soup in it but on the low setting it was still boiling the soup, no Simmer setting. Would have liked to cook and serve in a removable skillet but can’t expect to much for the price.
