I didn't want a bigger one with all the bells and whistles and this one fit the bill for me and my husband. So far I have done fries, burgers and brussel sprouts. The burger came out just the way I like it -- medium well and juicy. The brussel sprouts were very good also. I have to work a little bit on the fries as they were not as crispy as I want them to be but I think I didn't leave them in long enough so it was probably me and not the air fryer! Glad I bought it and would recommend to anyone looking for a smaller air fryer to not take up a lot of room on their kitchen counter.
I gave this item two stars because I bought it on sale at BBB, and it does work well for small portions. However, after a few months of use, the nonstick coating on the frying rack started flaking off. I notified Dash, since the fryer was still under warranty. It's been over a month, and I'm still waiting for resolution of this issue. They said they would replace the frying rack --but it hasn't come yet. There is no way to call the company or even chat with them. You have to submit a request via email and then wait for their response. I'm still waiting, and I'm hesitant to use an appliance when the non-stick coating is flaking off. Buy another brand with better quality and customer service. .

I was using this two days ago and I came in the kitchen. There was this white smoke I pulled the plug and I saw what I found it started to burn at the bottom didn’t even get a chance to use it that much I only used it twice.
I bought this because I was recently told I have to follow a very restricted low sodium diet and I'm desperately looking for ways to cook things that make them taste ok, I no longer have any hope things will ever taste "good" again. I have been unable to work but had a very old gift card I could use without having to spend too much out of pocke. No temp setting means this junk burns everything instantly.
The size and quality is great!
It does not have a thermometer but it works very well
I wasn’t aware it didn’t have a temperature control on it. I don’t use very often.
This air fryer meets my needs. This is not a high end appliance as you only have one temp setting of 400 degrees. It’s very basic but seems to work well.
Love it, possibly bigger than needed for one oerson.
