I have used it twice with success. I found it helpful to put something nonflammable under it to catch any runoff from the cooking spray. It does get very hot, so be careful as the directions state. I whipped up eggs and found that the entire egg would not fit all at once, but would overflow. I did not find in the instructions anything regarding the exact volume to use each time, but I quickly learned how to adjust this. It's difficult to describe, but something you will learn for yourself. There is also a waffle-maker version in this size by the same company, which I purchased and like very much.
I bought this online thinking it would make a good gift for my daughter. However, when it came, I couldn't believe how tiny it was!! The griddle plate was no larger than a single fried egg!!! I should have expected that it wasn't exactly the best just by the price but I hope it is big enough for her to use. I would recommend it is best used in a college dorm! Be prepared, if you want something small, this is YOUR griddle. If you want something for making real meals, go bigger.

I made a mini quesadilla today using zero carb tortillas, a little shredded cheddar cheese, some shredded chicken, taco sauce, topped with another tortilla. Cooked for about five minutes, and it was perfect for lunch!

I am terrible at making pancakes. I can’t make them. I saw this at Marshall’s and grabbed it. It made the perfect pancakes. Can’t wait to try it with other recipes.
