Until I received this mini waffle maker I had never made waffles at home--only at hotels. This machine is much quicker than the commercial machines in hotels and makes perfect waffles in no time flat. I forgot to spray the surface, but I made 6 waffles in a row without anything sticking. I was surprised at the small size, but that was a great benefit because I can store it on a tiny shelf with my mini food processor and my coffee grinder. It's the best gadget I've bought in years! I can only think of one improvement--an on-off switch.
The Dash waffle maker is adorable and love the size of the waffle, but holy cow! It took 7-8 minutes PER waffle. Made a normal batch size (10-12 mini waffles) to have in freezer and it took nearly 1-1/2 hours to make a dozen. Ridiculous waste of time. This waffle maker just doesn't heat up as high as it should. I bought the set of 3 minis and have used the griddle and it heats up much, much hotter than the waffle maker.

Bought it to travel with and use on our small power inverter. It's perfect since it's a. 350 watt waffle/omelette maker.

I love the Dash Mini Waffle Maker!!!I can make all my different flavors for the whole week, store them in the refrigerator and pop them in the toaster oven or microwave when I’m ready to eat them!I use chocolate chip pancake mix, brownie mix, cream cheese swirl cake mix, and even sour cream and chive potato mix!I add in walnuts and banana to the waffle mixes and soft cheeses with different flavors to the potato mixes! There are all delicious and easy to keep, ready to go for when I’m on the run! Thanks Dash!!!
