De'Longhi Nespresso® Lattissima Pro in Stainless Steel

I am really enjoying this Nespresso machine. Just for some background perspective, I used to own a semi-automatic espresso machine that required trying to find the perfect grind settings, packing the grounds with the right amount of pressure and frothing milk with a steam wand. I don't claim to be a coffee "snob" or expert by any means, and although it was a great machine, it was too much hassle and mess for me to use regularly. I just wanted a great tasting espresso with no fuss. Now that I've switched to this machine, I'm enjoying my espresso drinks daily. I love that the milk is automatically frothed and dispensed into the cup when making a cappuccino or macchiato. Since it's programmable, the amounts of milk and espresso can be changed according to your liking, and the degree the milk is frothed can be adjusted as well. The parts in the milk pitcher are cleaned by turning the frothing knob all the way to the right after each drink. Every few days I take it apart and put the parts into the dishwasher (because the parts are small, I recommend using a baby basket or mesh bag on the top rack). It's been so easy to use and no water or coffee grounds all over the counter. I also appreciate that Nespresso has a recycling program for their capsules. My husband enjoys his americanos with the hot water dispenser. As far as temperature goes, although the milk based drinks are not searingly hot, I feel that the temperature is just right for drinking immediately, whereas my husband has to let his americanos cool down for some time before they're comfortable enough for him to drink. I had been considering this machine for several months before finally taking the plunge and purchasing it, and I'm so glad I did. Bed Bath & Beyond's price couldn't be beat between the sale and 20% off coupon, and it was delivered quickly. I would definitely recommend waiting for a sale to get the best value.
