I bought this machine a year ago at the start of the stay-at-home order. I have been using this machine multiple times a day (just for espresso) and have been very happy with it. A few recommendations that may improve your experience: 1. Use freshly ground fresh beans. 2. Weight your coffee to ensure consistency (don't go by scoops). 3. Get a good (heavy) tamper (don't bother with the included tamper). 4. Remove crema for less bitter espresso/americano. 5. Stir espresso before drinking.
Purchased this item and less than 2 months later it was broken. Minimal use ~ 4 espressos a week. Overheated to the point that the top of the machine was hot to touch and would stay that way even after unplugged for a very long time. Stopped giving steam out through the spout so you couldn't make lattes or cappucinos. When I called the company was told I would have to pay shipping back to have it serviced!!! The machine is less than 2. months old and I HAVE TO SEND IT BACK probably going to cost $30 to ship it to NJ. I so dislike companies that don't even stand by their own products.

I purchased this coffee maker in December 2020, it worked for 1,5 year. It stopped working after forth descaling. Although the descaling process has been completed, the orange button is still blinking. I tried to troubleshoot following Delonghi instructions, however nothing helped. I will NEVER buy Delonghi product again. It is my second and LAST coffee maker from Delonghi. The first one was fully automated with grinder and it also worked for about 1,5 year.

Je l’ai pas gardé trop cette machine. Elle est performante, de design très intéressant surtout pour les petites cuisines comme la mienne mais j’ai pas aimé le fait de ne pas avoir le contrôle sur la quantité du café et la mousse qui était quasiment absente.

Looking forward to making an esprsso with my new DeLonghi machine. Opened the box, took everything out and there is no filter holder. Cant enjoy the machine without this critical part.

I have used the De'Longhi Espresso Machine for quite some time and I love them. They rarely not work. Super easy to use. this size is really good for the counter. it is half the width of the other machines that have the inbuilt grinder. The middle button should make about 4-5oz of Espresso. But .. read below!!! NOTE: Upon the first use, if you see that the water is NOT coming out more that a few seconds (3-7 sec) even when you have keep the brew button pressed, and the two left buttons flash after water stops, then the machine is stuck in the de-scaling mode at factory and there is no way to reset it. At this point, please exchange it with a replacement. Make sure that you flush the new machine through the seam spout as well as the espresso 1 tank each to prime the machine before first use, as directed in this video:
