Moisture can build up on the inside of the bags when they are in the refrigerator. It is suggested that you remove the items and dry out the bag or wrap the items in a paper towel. I found myself using a lot of paper towels when using the second method, and having to replace the paper towels when they got damp. I found that if I wrapped the items in a "shop towel" that this was a good solution. You can get shop towels at any auto supply store. They are used as cleanup towels in auto applications and are 100% cotton. These towels are much thinner than a bath towel and about 12 inches square - just right for vegetables. You can get a package of these for around $8.00 (I think 24 to a package). I haven't tried the micro-fabric, but those may also work well because they absorb water so readily. The shop towels last an incredibly long time and can also be used for many other purposes. I have used the GreenBags for about 4 years and they really do make your vegetables last longer.
I got this to see if I can get bananas to last longer because they go brown so quickly and usually I end up throwing them away. With this bag, the bananas last just slightly longer but not by much. Same with tomatoes and avocadoes. I've tried it with green beans, lettuce, green onions, celery- all of which belong in the frig and they do last longer. I kept the top open so that it doesn't create too much condensation in the bag and this seemed to help. The one item I was impressed with was ginger. The bag keeps the ginger fresh without losing too much moisture in the frig. I can't say how long this bag keeps produce fresh but roughly I think at least 2 days longer.

Purchased these little numbers about 30 years ago and wanted more. They hold up to the test of time if properly cleaned and stored. Fantastic for keeping my veges fresh!! Love, love, love them!!
These bags do absolutely help keep my fresh veggies fresher much longer that any other method I have tried. This package is a great value providing many bags for a better price.
I have been using these bags and boxes for many years now and can't manage without them. They are really good and can keep produce fresh for up to 4 weeks in the Refridgerator. Certainly good value for money and now my friends have started to use them as well.
I've used Debbie Meyers for over decade. As long as you pay attention to moisture build up int the bag with vegies or fruit they will last far longer than any other storage.
Love these bags. Fruits & Vegetables last twice the amount of days in the bags than without!
Great product. I've been using these for years. It's a shame I can no longer purchase them in store. Big mistake of BB&B to drop this product from it's shelves.
