Was just what I was looking for! Our three year old can get in and out just fine. It was easy to put together and seems solid! We put a 6in mattress in the bed and feel like a 8in would out been to high to where there wouldn’t be enough railing. So I recommend getting a 6 inch mattress like we did. I also like that there’s a support beam a crossed the two back bottom legs for added support.

We purchased 2 of these beds for kids ages 7 & 9. The smell of the furniture ( from the paint?) is horrible. I strongly recommend opening the product and keeping outdoors for a week before bringing it in your home, we have had windows open in all rooms for 2 days and it still very strong.
