Very nice and easy when preparing pasta

I gave this to someone as a gift; it was a good size and it was easy to clean. A fair price. And speedy delivery. However, the thing the recipient did not like was that it could not be put into the dishwasher. Therefore, I had to return it.

Bought this for my daughter who makes a lot of pasta dishes. She loves it.

I'd been fighting with an old pot that had a strainer lid - upgrading to this lift out strainer pot was the best idea ever! No steam burns on your hands and arms and no lid coming off when you were holding the old pot almost upside down to drain. Love the color and the sturdy design - I'm so glad I purchased this one!

I love this pot and strainer and it does the job very very well. No complaints really! It did show up looking like it had been used before (scratches on the bottom, some water staining on the inside. So that's disappointing but the actual pot is great!

They recommend washing by hand, which is not preferred in my house, but I am happy with this pot. It conducts heat well, and is really nice for pulling the pasta out of the water and emptying rather than trying to pour the water out without losing the noodles.

Was so happy when it came, it was just what I was looking for. But, after first use, I debated taking it back. The steel is not great. I got things stuck on in the first use that I could not get off. Scrubbing, soaking, scrubbing, soaking.... repeat. Still has stuck on stuff. So sad because I wanted to love it. Great for pasta but not for cookiing the pasta in sauce after. Would not buy again, almost did not keep it. I only did because I was to lazy to take it back.
