Destination Summer 9-Foot Tilting Patio Market Umbrella

My umbrella was put out in the Summer of ‘21 and by August of ‘22 it refuses to stay open. I wind it up…and down it slides! Not good!

This isn't as sturdy as the Destination Summer umbrella it's replacing and came with instructions to crank it in when not in use. It hasn't survived any strong storms yet so no evidence about duriability. At least the pulley system isn't fully exposed nor does sunlight sparkle through the fabric as with some slightly less expensive options.

The umbella it's self is great and comes with a bag for winter storage which was a bonus. Downfalls, if you're purchasing the "grey" it is not grey at all, but rather beige. Although advertised, photographed and labeled (on product) as grey, it is definitely far from being grey.

I had a worn and tattered umbrella on a wood frame and was looking for replacement fabric only. I ended up going with this instead since it was actually less money than most good umbrella fabric replacements. I just swapped out the whole pole/frame and installed this product into my existing base. Nice things about it - the crank makes it easier to set up and down compared to the "lift manually and pin" that my old one did. Also it's light because it's aluminum. The tilt works exactly as you'd expect and gives more shade. And finally if you need to take it somewhere, or when it's time to put it away for the year (like I didn't do with my old one :D) you can fold it up and put it in the handy carrying bag that it comes with! Overall I don't think you can go wrong with this umbrella.

Not much of a breeze when I left home returned an hour later , it was more than a 100FT. away from the patio. damaged beyond repair. had it only a week.

I love that you control the lilt, easy to adjust as the sun changes throughout the day. Pretty color as well.

I have had my navy blue umbrella up for 2 months and it is turning purple!. I understand fading from the sun, but for this to happen in just two months is unacceptable. I passed the window for being able to return it so now I am trying to deal with the warranty department which is impossible to get a person on the phone to speak with me. Very disappointing because otherwise I found the umbrella easy to use.

Don’t buy these. I got them on sale and they were in a holder for about 45 minutes when a *VERY SLIGHT* breeze caused one to bend at the bottom. I think they’d be good in table where they’d be supported in the middle but don’t just use them in a holder at the bottom.
