Full disclosure, I've never tried another decalcifier/descaler. The reason why is because DURGOL Swiss Espresso Special Decalcifier/Descaler works so well. I have a Starbucks Verismo machine that has a sensor light which tells me when I need to clean/descale it. I use the DURGOL and bam, the sensor light goes off; so I know it's doing it's job. I've had the same machine for 7 years and it gets used sometimes multiple times per day. As such, this is a great track record for DURGOL. It's pricey when compared to other cleaners, but I personally feel it's worth it.

It says it can be used on espresso machine, however it is too harsh on stainless steel surface. It burnt my machine surface where is stainless steel. The solution stained it. Do not use on espresso machine!

I live in a town with very hard water. My electric kettle and insulated mugs generally get coated in minerals after a couple of uses. Every couple of weeks, I use Durgol to quickly descale them. You can see it working to remove the buildup, then all you need to do is rinse it. I have tried other brands of descaler (including the descaler that a very famous coffee machine company sells) and they do not work as well as Durgol and then you have to scrub to remove what the descaler didn't.

I’m on my second DeLonghi Magnifica machine. I use it because that is what the manufacturer calls for and it WORKS.

Good but so expensive

Not sure how effective this product is. We use it but we also use spring water for our coffee maker. Surprised at how often we need to decalsify since this should be removing the build up but is it really getting all of it. I wonder???

This product was very easy to use. Measure & add water, run it through the coffee maker then run 2 pots of water to rinse! Very easy! Worked great!
