Before the Dyson pure Hot+Cool I had a stand-alone air purifier and a separate heater. I replaced both of these devices with the Dyson and I couldn't be happier with it. For one, the Dyson has a built-in thermostat so it senses the ambient room temp and will automatically start/stop when the set temp is reached. The stand-alone heater I had previously would just heat up the room until you manually turned it off. The other thing I really like about the Dyson is its super quiet compared to my previous air purifier. Lastly, I believe the air purifier on this unit is superior to most of the cheap units you see on Amazon. With my previous air purifier you couldn't really tell if it was working or not, you just had to trust that it was doing its job. With the Dyson I left the air purifier on for a few hours in my home office and when I walked in I immediately noticed the room smelled cleane. The best way I can describe it is it reminded me of that sanitized smell walking into a Doctor's office. Overall very happy that I went with Dyson on this purchase, so much so that my wife and I decided to pick up another vacuum today.
I'm on my 3rd Dyson Pure Hot Cool Link. If it wasn't for the fact that it's the only product I'm aware of to combine wifi, air purification, heating, and fan cooling, I would not put up with the build quality issues I've experienced. Simply put, it's really during noisy during oscillation mode. Now, I'm not talking about white noise from the fan. Something in the base of this unit starts making a loud, grinding noise after about 2 weeks of usage. Now, if you don't run it in oscillation mode, you probably will not notice anything. But if you do run it in that mode, it will likely become loud enough to bother you at night. Again, I'm hopeful this one will not have that noise. And I still may keep it even if it does because I like all the other features so much. But be aware that it may become noisy. I still recommend it with that warning.

I love this dyson hot+cool because its an air purifier and a heater and also a fan, such a great combo for the price is actually not bad only thing why I lessen to 1 star is because I cant check how much its purifying the air in my room. I have a mid size room about 150 sq ft room and it manages to cool it or make it warmer, the noise level is not that bad kind of loud but tolerable. Great purchase overall just need to figure out if i can check how much its purifying the air

Totally love new purifier for my mother's room, she suffers from allergies and this will help so much to keep the whole room fresh and clean at all times. Highly recommended! ;-)
I bought my DYSON PURE HOT+COOL years ago and it still performs amazingly. It does a great job heating and cooling my bedroom. Of course it also seems to clean the air. Yes it can be a bit loud but I like the extra white noise.

I bought this machine approximately 1 month ago. I was very happy with the heating function. It literally warmed my entire living room and we were using the home heating less. About 3 weeks into owning this unit I noticed it was stating to get a little noisy. We cleaned it and it seemed fine. Now, today 2/15/2023, the unit started to get a little more noisy while oscillating. We turned it off as recommended. Now, it will not oscillate at all and fan speeds are not functioning either. Again, I was very happy with this unit for the first 3 weeks. I’m hoping it will cool off enough and work again but I’m not overly confident that it will. I would think for the money this unit cost, it should work without so many issues and such a short period of time.

What a piece of trash. Took it to the Dyson service center and they gave me a new one (they were great). One yr later, same error. Display reads H2 which has a bunch of ppl hacking it but what it really means is Horrible squared. Save your money.

I was so excited to get a hot cold purifier, solving 3 needs in one package! The first machine clunked every time it rotated, then it just stopped rotating completely. The second machine came with an error code, so didn't work at all. I'm on the third one and this grinds when it rotates. I've had so many conversations with the people at Dyson and some were helpful, some were not at all. All in all it's been pretty disappointing having a machine that doesn't work as it's supposed to.
Hands-down this should be on Oprah’s list of favorite things. I purchased in 2018 and have had no service or technology issues. I most often use the heat setting and love that I can adjust the temp. I appreciate so many other features as well such as the timer, ability to adjust the airflow, ability to control temperature settings from the app, and most of all the air filtration. Allergy sufferers in my home have had a decrease in their symptoms. I am purchasing a second one for another room. It will be my 9th Dyson purchase and I have been highly satisfied with all of Dyson’s products thus far.

This was a surprise Christmas present for my husband to use in his office. I was a bit apprehensive to purchase it because of the price, but I think he truly liked it and enjoys all of the features, especially the remote control. I think Santa made a great purchase.
