This is my second dyson stick vacuum, the first one my husband broke lol so I bought a bissell stick vacuum and it was really nice to have the light to see under the cabinets but that too broke. So I broke down and purchased this new one and I really didn’t wanna pay $700 for vacuum , but you truly get what you pay for wirh dyson, I have an area rug that the bissell kept sucking up and wasn’t getting nearly any dog hair off. So I used the dyson today and the area and although I had to empty it 3 times it got all of our dog hair off lol having 4 dogs and 1 cat i need something that has good suction and lots of power! 10/10 recommend! Also if you have BB&B membership you save! So I only paid $590 something and that included tax
I fell in love with it (even though it was outrageously expensive). Many things about it are great! Then suddenly, I noticed it stopped showing the "Particle Count". Not a big deal, except that also means that "Reactive Suction" is disabled. I tried charging it, removing the battery, reinserting it, but no matter what, the "Particle Count" function won't enable. I set it to on, and hold the button for 5 seconds, but it still shows as off. The LCD screen also times out or glitches, and disappears after about 10 seconds. So you have to be quick to do anything in menu. So obviously, the vacuum just has a problem, and I need to get support. I went to Dyson's website where I already registered the vacuum, and went through the support menu. It was useless, and didn't provide any method to get to a support person. I finally found their phone number. When I called it, the phone does a variety of incorrect things. First, it will just answer and provide dead air indefinitely. Second, it will ring many times, then provide something similar to a busy tone. Third, it will connect and talk in another language. I got lucky and pressed 2, since I recognized it was saying "press one to continue in [another language]". I then got three options, Price Match, Existing Order, or something else. None of which were support. I tried pressing 2 anyways to see if I could get to a person, then it goes back to dead air. So I found a way to get to the Chat function, which you first have to answer a bunch of troubleshooting questions in a certain way so that it gives you the option to chat with a rep. I did so, and was presented with "No one is currently available. Please try again later." It is 10 AM on a Tuesday. Their hours indicate they are open, but I can't get support. I'm returning the vacuum. I may try purchasing it again later, but I'm not getting stuck with this thing if I can't get support, and have a partially functioning [expensive] vacuum.

I own/have owned a V10 Absolute, a V12 Detect Slim Absolute, and now a V15 Detect Absolute. My V12 is less than 2 years old, but I really wanted the Reach Under Tool and a HEPA Filter andneither was available on the V12, so when the V15 came out, I purchased it. So far, I love it! It is definitely more powerful than the V12 and the Reach Under Tool makes it easier to vacuum under my bed and dressers. The HEPA Filter is a plus, as I do have allergies to dust and pollen. I really like using the "Detect" feature that helps me see the dust particles that are on the floor. I have found that vacuuming in less lighting makes it even more "fun" to use.

Just bought it yesterday and I love it. Oodles of attachments, so can do my hardwood floors, carpeted stairs, braided rugs and log walls. It's light enough to carry around easily. It has vacuumed everything I put in front of it. The only problem I ran into is where to mount the wall mount. I now realize I have no plug ins in any closet! It needs a plug in, so I think I'll just charge it out of the hanger. Meanwhile, I think it will fill all my needs.

Dyson is a quality product, let's start there. Their ability to deliver quality and support it virtually, is definitely something that keeps us coming back. We have owned several Dyson vacuums, and each one is different, better in some cases and for sure improved and quality at its best. The V15 is a replacement to our current V10, which we gave to one of the kids. It is exceptional in all it does, the efficiency, the engineering, the continuity and consistency in doing what it should, which is clean, and do a great job at it. Although you pay more for Dyson, as the old expression goes, you get what you pay for! Would recommend this or any Dyson product over and over.

First the ugly…when I ordered this machine it clearly stated it came with two batteries. My daughter was with me and said on her v8 she only had one and nice it would be to have two. Well, it no longer says two batteries and it was like I was making it up. I wouldn’t even know to make it up! The vacuum itself is a great vacuum. I was so surprised what the laser saw on a floor that I thought was clean. I have numerous Dyson products including hair dryer, etc. I have always been a very happy and loyal customer; however, I am extremely disappointed on the extra battery. Again, how would I have known two batteries was offered. I did not dream that.
