I have this in a vacation rental. The first time this quilt was laundered (according to its instructions) it came out about 7-8 inches shorter in width. The length did not change. It has not changed size since the initial wash. It's super durable and very well made, however -- and if it hadn't shrunk I would give it 5 stars. It no longer reaches the box spring on the sides of the bed now, and it's too short to swing around so the stripes go sideways... My king mattress is not one of the thick pillow-top varieties, either -- it uses standard depth sheets. So I'm going to use this as a queen bed quilt now, and will do alterations to make the king shams fit standard pillows. I've not had this shrinkage issue with any of the other quilts I have.
