Dealt with some unfortunate urinary incontinence issues after childbirth. I noticed improvement after using 5x a week for two weeks. Two months in and my pelvic floor feels stronger, bladder control is significantly better. The improvement in my intimate life was just a bonus. The app tracks your progress and lets you know if you're using Elvie correctly. It's not cheap, but a worthwhile investment, especially since the app helps with progress and correct use. One charge last for two weeks of daily use.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Elvie Trainer is pretty cute, the packaging is beautiful and it’s all very well designed - the charger/case is discreet and actually quite pretty. The app is pretty too, and I approached it with enthusiasm after my firstborn. However… this system is good for one thing: strengthening weak pelvic muscles that you have control over. I found that the elvie had to be way, way up there to be effective (which really wasn’t clear by the video or the pamphlet). If it wasn’t in the right spot I’d get wildly different results between sessions. Sometimes I wasn’t able to squeeze hard enough to register, and other times I wasn’t able to relax my muscles. The latter isn’t Elvie’s fault though. I went to womens physio and discovered I do have trouble relaxing my pelvic floor muscles (as well as having weak pelvic floor muscles, it’s a weird conundrum). Initially I was excited because I thought the feedback of the app would help me know if I was relaxing or not, but it basically already told me what I already knew, which was that I *couldn’t* relax those muscles, but not help on how to relax them. Essentially - I feel like there are a few other imbalances happening with my pelvic floor which Elvie won’t help. You can’t fix them if you aren’t aware of them, or you don’t know how to consciously exercise them when using it. Otherwise, this is a cute way to remind you do pelvic floors that aren’t done on the toilet, but I do feel the app could give more pointers (for example on a lift: “Imagine pulling a zipper from your behind up and forward through your pelvic floor” or whatever. The hints and tips they tell you so you can feel if you’re doing it right. Worth buying if the only thing wrong with your pelvic floor is strength issues. I would go and see a womens physio first though to make sure your lady parts are right for this.

I’ve had my Elvie for a month now and it’s definitely making a difference. I bought it as I’d experienced leakage quite out of the blue on walks. I’ve not had children but do think menopause has had an impact on my pelvic floor. I tried apps designed for pelvic floor exercises but don’t think they helped. Using Elvie is simple and you know in real time whether you are doing the exercises correctly. It’s worth the expense and only takes a few minutes every other day. I have found the Elvie easy to insert, comfortable and after about a week or so the lifting technique becomes easier to ‘locate’ and do. The charge lasts for ages and the packaging is discrete too. I’m enjoying the competitive element of improvement in strength too.

Touch and go whether it will even register the squeeze. Sometimes it says I’m amazing and others it doesn’t recognise the action at all. Very expensive. I would have sent it back if I could have

Bought this 3 weeks ago and has stopped working with the cover on. Sometimes it moves slow it’s minimal force and sometimes requires a lot..don’t trust the data in the app and probably isn’t doing any benefit. Have escalated to customer service but every response takes 3 days so haven’t really gotten anywhere fast

Considering you have to find JUST the right positioning to get it to read any of your kegels, I wouldn’t pay a dime. I have zero issues with incontinence or my pelvic floor I purchased to prevent aging since I am now in my 30s, I was doing these exercises with non-electric balls. There’s no reason I wouldn’t be able to get good scores yet I have to constantly reposition it. Don’t waste your money!!

Since I only got this a few weeks ago I can't really see any improvement yet. The trainer was a bit difficult to figure out, as placement in the vagina is tricky. Finding the correct position and ability to receive the Bluetooth signal was a bit challenging. Otherwise the trainer is easy to use and the app helpful. I hope to see improvement soon.

I have found the Elvie trainer difficult to use. When I am able to insert it correctly, it works intermittently. It was not made clear enough before purchase that it is not suitable for some types of prolapse. Obviously I cannot return it so I am disappointed.
