Elvie® Wearable Single Electric Breast Pump

It is convenient to use. However, I purchase this product in just 7 weeks, It totally stops working. The pump cannot be charged and the start button does not light up anymore. Not to mention the accessories I bought one more batch between 7 weeks since the original ones broke. For the price of this product, it does not worth it at all!

I have been trying to boost my supply by pumping after breastfeeding so thought the elvie would make my life easier but unfortunately I would get only 15ml per side from the Elvie when I would get at least 40 on my spectra. It was very frustrating. It might work better for women with larger breasts.

I have only used this pump twice because both times I only got 40 mL of milk out total (I can get more with hand expression alone) and I had to pump with my base unit after so I wasn’t engorged. Totally defeats the purpose. Wish I hadn’t spent so much money on something that sits in a cabinet.

The Elvie is great for those moms that don’t have time to sit and do nothing for 15-20 minutes every 3 hours. I would have liked to have been given an option for sizes of flanges. I do think based on the price it should include a carrying case in place of the cloth bags that came with it. From my knowledge Elvie doesn’t have a bag specific to it. It is not the best if you haven’t pumped in a while but amazing for travel and if you have things you need to be mobile for.

I’m very happy with my Elvie it is considerably quiet for a pump. It’s slimmer than other in bra battery powered pumps. I did have issues in the beginning getting milk by I ordered a flange cushion and now I have no problems with production.

I've used my Elvie for about a month now. Every time it automatically shuts off saying the bottle is full. However, it really is only at about 2-2.5 oz. I've tried all the suggestions on the website

I recently purchased the elvie stride after my original elvie breast pump had a port that collapsed and was out of warranty. The new elvie stride is not working well. I contacted support and they sent replacement parts which I received and the pump is still not working. I’m going back to using the Medela symphony.

I used the Spectra for a month before getting my Elvie. I cant put into words how much my mental health has improved by pumping hands free. I also get more milk with my Elvie than I do with my Spectra. My only complaint is that it does sometimes leak when I’m wearing it or trying to pour the milk into bottles.
