I normally don't bother with writing reviews but after reading some of the other reviews, I felt the need to add my experience. I've had this vacuum for about two years now and would definitely buy it again. I have a Golden Retriever so I deal with a lot dog hair. The main issue I have with other reviews is comments on pet hair getting entangled in the brush. Yes, this will happen to any vacuum with a brush. Very little care is needed to clean the brush. Your vacuum will last for years with very little care. Some maintenance is required on all vacuums but the vacuum will last as long as you want if you only keep it clean now and then. The "Pet Pal Turbo" attachment is also wonderful for keeping pet hair off the couch and chairs.

it worked, great, but today when I was using it, the brush wouldn't turn and the light didn't come on. I checked the belt, and it was intact, so I don't know what is wrong with it. It's like no power is getting to the base. Seems to be an issue after reading the comments as they're many similar.

We have a cordless vacuum but bought this one for when the battery is charging on the cordless one. I should've read reviews because after only 2 months the brush stopped working as a lot of the reviews states. Customer service was not helpful stated I need to replace the belt before they'll do anything and it would have to be replaced every 6 months, but I hadn't even own the vacuum 6 months so I called and had to send them a video. Customer service won't address the issue, just wanted to issue a refund. Invest in a better quality vacuum as this one is a joke! I just wanted a working vacuum.

I am disappointed with this vacuum. I thought it would last longer but it just gave out today. I used a previous version and that lasted me over 6 years before it gave out thus I bought this updated version of it. I Im not able to find how to fix it or support. I may just try another brand at this point.
