I honestly can not understand why this percolator has gotten so many negative reviews! I have had mine for about 6 to 8 months now and have had no problems with it whatsoever. I love it!! My husband and I are major coffee drinkers and we put our percolator to use frequently and though it took a while to get used to in regard to proportions, (you have to use slightly more per cup than a standard drip machine) now that I"ve gotten used to it, I would never ever go back. The flavor is much more rich and one of the main reasons we wanted to switch was due to the fact that is it made completely of stainless steel internally. We are rather health conscious and I really wanted a machine void of plastic that did not require a paper filter. All in all, I am extremely happy with my purchase and would by this product again.
unfortunatley we have been replacing our Farberware percolator ever few years. We love HOT PERCED coffee but like many others, what happenes is the brewing cycle doesn't complete, resulting in weak, warm coffee; it's too bad and annoying. But unless a better percolator comes on the marked we will continue to replace our percolator.

This 12 cup electric percolator makes the best coffee! I love that the body is mostly stainless steel so the coffee doesn’t come in contact with the plastic. This is very hard to find these days. Farberware makes a good perculator that makes those 12 cups (traditional size) in 10 minutes or less. Big and giant mugs and travel cup take up more than a few cups. My first Farberware percolator was purchased in 1989. I used it daily for 10 or more years. I noticed my next percolator was lighter weight but still made great coffee. I will continue to use my percolator for an awesome cup of coffee!

We always use a Faberware Percolator - this one does a fine job. Ordered it in-store, and it was shipped to house - excellent service.
