We had the same exact percolator for such a long time, but it was finally time to get a new percolator. After looking at several different brands, we just didn't want to take a chance, so we stuck with getting the same Farberware 8 cup Percolator. So happy we did! Using the 20% coupon with no shipping made this wonderful percolator a no-brainer! The coffee that it perks makes you look forward to getting out of bed in the morning-it's WONDERFUL! Keeps it hot, and so good, you go back for that second cup! Just wish the cord was a little longer.
In the past, I have owned 4-5 of these in various sizes. I always loved the flavor and the fact that the coffee came out hot and stayed that way, HOWEVER, the last two I had have lasted less than a year. The brew cycle stops too soon and the coffee is luke warm. Since Faberware started making these overseas, they are now nothing but garbage. Bad move on their part. Don't waste your money on this. I'm going to try another brand.

Theres is nothing like a percolator! Makes THE best coffee
I’m very upset, This percolator is Not working properly. I have had several of these through decades and have loved each one until it wore out. So I bought another one and I could tell from the sound of percolating it was not the same as my previous machines. I sadly have to return it and pray they can replace with a new one that works.
I was hoping this would be a good compromise between my French press and my wife’s drip maker. It does make a fast, hot cup of coffee. However, there isn’t much flavor. We tried different brands of coffee, and varied the strength and grind. We even tried different types of water - filtered, bottled, room temperature, cold. The coffee was consistently very “blah”. The knob becoming loose only added to the frustration. I will be returning this.
I love the coffee pot. Makes great coffee. The top is a little hard to get off, and doesn't feel like its on tight. The handle has a little open hole on it that looks like its not finished. Other than that, its great. I would buy it again.
Excellent coffeemaker, just the right size. Coffee is delicious and good and hot. I already own the larger pot, had the one smaller, but was too small.
